Marner - appropriately compensated.

Beer at Scotiabank Arena - appropriately priced.

I'm actually not kidding on this.

I mean, I've purchased it, but still, punch yourself in the balls.

Want to talk ball punch?

Washer stopped working.

Repair guy showed up - looked at it for 20 seconds, told me the spider arm was broken.

Not worth it to repair.

I was just trying to steer us to a divisive topic after all the milquetoast pandemic and guns chit-chat.

Yeah, that's a good one. A washer is one of those things that you need, but you can't get excited about suddenly having a reason to buy a new one. That's pretty messed up that a washing machine is a write-off so easily.

Don't forget to pay the repair guy $175 for his 2 second diagnosis.

It used to be that when I would eat Wendy's hamburgers, I would feel really (frank)ed up. But I persisted, and now, not only am I used to it, but life doesn't seem as good without it!

I think we've had it for about 8 years.

I'm terrified that the new one won't be able to get into the laundry room (we renovated about 10 years ago).

I'm 99% certain that the broken one came after the renovations, but I'm paranoid.

I've measured, and it's going to be an SOB to get down the stairs, but it should fit.

Used to go about once a month to Wendy's for lunch while at work.

Got tired of doing the gut-clench sprint to the bathroom, followed by spray-painting the bowl. So I don't often get to Wendy's anymore.

Which is a damn shame, because it's waaaaaay getter than McDonald's.

I bought the Callaway Edge set during the pandemic, because the wife wanted to start golfing again, and I figured 'what the hell" - I'll buy a cheap set.

Now we are addicted and I most certainly need a new set, but damn, I have to buy a new washer, so that purchase has been pushed back.

Just because you're paranoid, don't mean the new washing machine will fit into the laundry room.

I went to get fitted even if I didn't have the budget for the new clubs, paid for the fitting and asked the guy to hold off on ordering until later, and paid when I had the money.

Man I'm glad I never got into golf. I already have enough gear-heavy, time-intensive hobbies between cycling, skiing, skating and now getting into fishing. Thank frank ping pong is cheap and with gardening at least the sun is free (for now).

I guess with skating I won't incur new costs, until I start playing hockey

I had to remove drywall in order to get our new washer and dryer into the basement.
