Don't use the same fax machine we used to try and dump Jonas Hoglund.

word to the wise; if you’re having trouble going number 2, get yourself a nespresso and drink about 2 or 3 triples a morning👍

you’ll be back on your throne 4 or 5 times a day like you’re supposed to 👊🏿

A couple of years ago, I was wandering through Home Depot, and I came across a Squatty Potty on the discount table.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I bought it (less than $20).

Obviously I'm not allowed to keep it out in the bathroom, so it lives tucked away in the closet, but at times when I really, really need to ... ahem ... focus, it comes out.

And it's franking glorious.

To be fair, none of us know what the hell we are talking about around these parts (including hockey).

I know about meteorites. That's it. That's my lane and wheelhouse : space rocks.

Everything I say outside of that context is 50% hot air and 50% guesswork.

But, I am self-aware of that fact and I can live it without getting defensive or butthurt. Half of our society could do well to emulate that.

What do you think about that guy that claims there are metal globules of alien tech in that meteorite that crashed into the ocean?

A team shouldn't, but there are markets that probably would have to. There are markets that have to overpay to attract their talent - Winnipeg and Arizona come immediately to mind - one for the bitter winter, and the other for the bitter atmosphere. To some extent Alberta has similar problems, but so would Ottawa as all three cities can get pretty horrible in winter. Then you have the cities which might need to overpay to attract talent because of where they are in their rebuild - Chicago and Anaheim come to mind, and because Chicago just landed Bedard, it might not even be the case.

But some of those markets might take a player's market value and have to inflate it to attract the player.

If you have $10m to spare, is Nylander the guy you plop down the cash for? Based on available names, he might be one of the better options around coming into UFA next year. His only direct competition would be Aho and I highly suspect Carolina resigns him. $10m for Willy is more of an act of desperation, but it's also a reflection of the escalating cap. If he puts up 40 goals again this year, he probably crosses that $10m threshold.

He'd be in Huberdeau cap hit range.

when I am able to confirm my beliefs by cherry picking a few examples...thats critical thinking, not confirmation bias

*please note, this is a hockey post I swear

Even my friends that worked in the Covid ICU watching unvaccinated patients die didn't extrapolate from that that all unvaccinated patients died. But not too long after people started getting vaccinated, it was pretty much just unvaccinated patients in the ICU. That's just from people working there for several years though, what do they know. It's not like they have a podcast or anything.

This is good advice - I have a homemade Lungo or two every morning and I am the envy of all my friends and family. I have a beautifully formed #4 around 10am every morning.

Funny thing is, I was going to write that - but couldn't remember if the sample disks ever came in 5.25", so I decided to be safe.

I remember a junior high school teacher wondering why her hole punch kept going missing - I didn't have the heart to tell her all of us were stealing them.
