Was it really? Top 5 worst? Not so sure.
It was bad for sure, no doubt.
I dont believe its top 5......maybe 9- 12 range.

It was an awful trade - but there have been so many awful trades, that this probably doesn't even crack the top-10 (we'd have to compile a list)!

I mean even in that brief window when Fletcher took over from JFJ, he dumped Colaiacovo and Steen for Stempniak, traded McCabe AND a 4th for Van Ryn, in order to trade up to get Schenn at #5, he traded the #7, a 2nd AND a third. I mean . . .

Well, I guess it's in there. When I think about it, the first crap that pops in my mind are these:

- Courtnall for Kordic
- Rask for Raycroft
- A 1st, 2nd and 4th for Toskala and Bell
- A 1st (Niedermayer) for Tom Kurvers
- A 1st (Luongo), Jonsson + junk for broken Clark & Schneider
- Paiement for Frycer
- Sittler for Costello and a 2nd

When Russia loses this war, we might see that happen. Or, at the very least, he will fall out of a high window. God willing.
