Think either of them played an active role as President? Always felt like an honorary title to me. - Lunaion
Tom would be at the sabre games all the time
aside from a winter classic or a special hockey award night, never see the owners at sabre games |

But isn't it at least somewhat odd that he bestowed an honorary title upon himself for one franchise but not the other? I dont think either he or Kim would actually have a valuable perspective to add as president, I just think it's odd he took her title for one team but not both.
Idk what that actually means, if anything, because he is kind of a strange guy. But it's a strange move |

probably means Terry expects the Bills in the spotlight this season, the Sabres not so much
or waiting for Jessica's tennis season to end and put her in that spot
she can run the sabres like she ran healthy scratch |
|
|
|
And then this Roth guy who was only recently brought into the Sabres is now a key player for the Bills after a sudden and unexpected departure from the previous COO. It's just another in a long line of weird things from them |

It's definitely strange, maybe he didn't want to step on the Roth guy's toes? Maybe they didn't want to define his role?

Honestly that explanation makes as much sense as anything but I think Jessie Pegula is still very much committed to her tennis career so I doubt it would be her precisely |

Probably doesn't cherish the cold winters in Buffalo when he has a mansion in South Florida...he streams IPTV service to the yachts media room. |

Isn't he already the CEO of both? Does he do anything more than a typical owner day to day?
Maybe the hockey move is coming closer to the start of the season.

I'd bet he has to limit the number of days he spends in NY.

183 Day Rule for State Residency in Florida
Other states that do impose an income tax may have laws requiring a taxpayer to demonstrate an intent to live in a different state (such as Florida) for most of the calendar year. Many income tax states use a “183 Day Rule,” or a 6-month rule, to establish residency in Florida.
Under the rule, the taxing states require that a person looking to declare residency in Florida must reside in Florida for at least 183 days (in other words, one day more than six months).

Think there's a lot more in play when you own billion dollar businesses in NY. |

As I heard a co-worker say today, and I quote: “He has a touch of the ‘tism”.
I’m not even being mean or attacking the condition but he is 100% on the spectrum. I have read a lot about autism/Asperger’s syndrome. He shows all the signs. |

Weird is eccentric, though. I think “being on the spectrum” has been more easily diagnosed over the past two decades. Asperger’s in women is especially hard to diagnose still, as the traits and signs tend to be completely different or more subdued.
Weirdos include Thom Yorke, who is also a creep, and Weird Al, who is just weird and eccentric. Weird Science isn’t on the spectrum, either.
Howard the Duck is weird.
Doc from Back to the Future is weird.
Forest Gump, now that’s definitely Asperger’s. Rain Man, totally on the spectrum. Neither of them are weird. Just Aspie. |
