If fans are complaining about this and want it to end then players need to not play in playoffs while injured, which would result in multiple players not being allowed to play.

Can't have it both ways.

Lafferty and Timmins would save them around 800K then.

Regardless Treliving isn't done so I think its pointless to try and figure out what they would do with the current roster.

Brodie and Nylander out = $12M

Lindholm and Zadorov in = $8.6M

Problem solved and the Leafs still have about $3.4M to play with.

Also, I cycled to Aurora and back this morning. I love you guys, but I would kill all of you for a dozen butter tarts right now.

No.

I know you're on Willy's wonka but if this bumhole holds out again, trade him before the season starts.

Keeping him as a rental and then losing him for nothing is terrible for the Leafs.

And, it's not the best look for the team to acquiesce every time a new contract needs to be signed. Time to play hard ball like other teams. If you want to play for the Leafs organization, with the best facilities in the world and all the other knob suckery that goes with being a Leaf AND win a (frank)ing Cup, then sign a good deal and stop raping the team's Cap.

Nylander should be made example of IMO. (frank) this kid.

It is frustrating but to me I would say that Dubas created this beast. He let both 16/88 take advantage of him and hold out. Any player who holds out during camp should’ve been made example of to me. Now Tree is stuck in a situation where he’s trying to get the hammer back from the players that Dubas let them take from his inexperienced hands.

Domi could have gotten more.

Tatar likely wants term, at least a few years.

1 year 3M for Tatar? I feel like that would be done already by some team if it was possible.

Tatar is either going on a discount or Switzerland.
