Miller would be a decent add in the short term. I wonder however if the back half of his contract is going to age well. Would definitely be a decent add right now, but would prefer they went just a bit younger.

Of course, this all depends on what the price tag is.

Just start pulling a tampa bay and mortgage an entire draft betting on a younger, slightly established player.

Yeah, the "source" for this is BHN's Jimmy Murphy via another source...etc., etc. I'll believe it when I hear it from Krejci's lips. That being said, always felt of the two it was MUCH more likely Bergeron would be back but now I'm holding out hope that the chance to play with his good buddy Lucic (granted probably only on the ice at the same time during PP minutes) might entice him for one more year.

Still have the D core , Swayman and Ullmark. So...wrong. I'd like to see Hockey Ops meaning Neely all the way down cleaned out. I base that on every season before last year. However, Hockey Ops did the best anyone possibly could've last season. So they remain for now.

I know the athletic suggested calgary and boston as trade partners, but I didnt see this price tag. If they did this they essentially dont have anything in the way of D prospects and no pics to acquire any. Not sure if its worth it unless there is a guaranteed extension in place.

To Calgary: Carlo, Coyle, Lohrei, harrison and (whenever the (frank) we have a 1st rounder)


B's get what they need and revamp the back end just a tad and are following the Vegas method of trading away all their prospects and draft capital for a shot at the cup. Flames get players with term who wont walk out on them right away and a couple of good prospects and a pick that may end up being top 20.
