Clearly it’s been shown that Girgs is a good defensive - not 2-way - forward. I don’t think he brings enough in other aspects of the game to warrant a roster spot at this point. Neither does Old Man Okposo. Jost could have replaced both of them at once and then we would’ve had an additional spot for Rousek or Murray but vibes man.

Are vibes and synergy the same thing? That’s the bigger question…

It could be, management/ownership believes having a player stay in the organization will show other players around the league that its not that bad in Buffalo.

Girgs and Okposo have become massively wealthy as career losers, but they are loyal to a billionaire...

To add context, I do not think the environment is anywhere near as bad as before Meatball and the new core, but it's laughable to assume Girgs is a leader and had any influence on the change of vibes.
