🙂
Adams also locked down the dominant 4th line , prior to july 1st free agency. Very savvy move ,not allowing your leadership to leave the organization.
+2 + (+3) = 5 moves - Boss34
Yeah worry about something that should have been your last thing. Especially when neither was leaving anyway. |

I really hope Adams plan works and the additions help. A lot has to go right and he hasn't left himself much wiggle room. - Buff36
Yep, your plan with chychrun, bear, and debricat would have left a ton of cap space 😀
Adam's has wiggle room to sign pk88. How many teams can prorate a 6 million $ deal this season? |

You speak as if your in the know, when in fact , you have no clue.
Adam's got his guys signed prior to being poached.

Well I guess we wouldn't have had to spend 6.75mill on a pair of 5-6 Dman cause we would have had a Top pair D instead in Chychrun. |

Kyle definitely wasn't. But Girgensons intended to test the market and found out he wasn't getting more than a 1 year term. So Adams wanted him back as long as he accepted 1 year.

A scoring regression is absolutely coming.
They have upgraded their defence and goaltending though on top of that.
Every team in the Atlantic has question marks.
There is a lot of hockey to play, why are we just assuming defeat already though ? - Swedish_Jesus
Realistically, do you expect a better performance from Levi this year than Anderson last year?
I don't think that should be the expectation. League average would be great, but even that is asking a lot.

The dominant 4th line scored 3 goals and gave up 4 in 23 games together.

What team are we knocking out of the playoffs? After that, are you certain that we have improved significantly beyond Ottawa and Detroit and think that we can for sure beat out Sid and Malkin in possibly their last push? - JCSabs06

They have upgraded their goaltending and forwards, he asked if the Sabres got significantly better than Ottawa, which IMO they are not.
Ottawa lost their 1C last year who will also be back for the season. |

Ottawa is operating on a lot of "IFs". Two injured players coming back with a history of repeat injuries and overpaying a goalie that is mid level doesn't seem like much improvement to me. |

korpisalo is worse than forsberg
tarasenko was awful last year, kubalik is a downgrade from debrincat.
criticsm for the sabres is fair but ottawa is out to lunch. they need more things internally to break right than the sabres do.

They also lost the most promising offensive player on their team outside Stutzle. Korpi isn't good either. IMO they didn't rise or fall. |

Im more worried about Detroit. Their biggest obstacle is how long the coach gives ben chiarot before perma benching him.
If he's a healthy scratch by november and Husso bounces back, they are a threat. |
