Nah at the very least you’re working a minor Olofsson bit in here. I can see through you.
Quinn was excellent down the stretch and was supposed to make a sizable jump this year.
It’s a big injury and one that could ruin his entire season - sbroads24
I appreciate your post.
2 sides to every discussion.
I honestly think the quinn injury makes management more likely to hold olofsson on the roster.
Sure , I mix in some trolling too....
Didnt you hate , absolutely hate the Quinn pick? |

Krebs’ first three years and Mittelstadt’s first three years look nearly identical.
This year will tell the story on Krebs, he either breaks out this season or he doesn’t.
Jost is a pretty good hedge though in the instance Krebs doesn’t take the step forward I think he’s capable of taking - Swedish_Jesus
Could krebs move up and break thru with cozens and peterka?
Jost replaced him on the JOG line. |
|
|
|
Maybe savoie or kulich play with peterka and cozens then?
Who seems like a natural fit?
Obviously your opposed to vo getting those minutes. - Boss34
2nd line feels wide open to me. Everyone is an option, except the 4 Larries.
|

|
|
You'd hope.
Wonder what happens if Kulich or Savoie have a better camp than him. - Lunaion
In time I think that’s realistic, as soon as this offseason though I doubt it.
Peterka is going to be a good one, and I think the fact he was an early second round pick and not a top 10 pick is where most of the skepticism is coming from.
I think there is a lot of underselling on the kids ceiling. |

Where on the Wing or C - Buff36
I'd say krebs to wing, because I see cozens as our #2c for the future.
Probably benefits the organization to have a guy like krebs just knocking on the nhl door of success.
Who do you see as the guy starting game 1?
Peterka cozens. ? |

I would put Kulich at LW on Cozens line
Kulich Cozens Peterka
Let Cozens drive play and Kulich and Peterka work the side Boards and let loose with those wrist shots. All 3 have good shots and aren't afraid of using there bodies. |

I’d think Peterka will get more minutes this year, don’t you ? - Swedish_Jesus
no clue
if the top line is skinner-tage-tuch
I think the second line is someone with casey and cozens
in theory whoever has the most skill should be on that line
savoie, benson, peterka, kulich, rosen, rousek, olofsson
pull a name out of a hat, if it's open competition
a big if |

Most of the players rumoured for trade are rentals aside for Karlsson. - Swedish_Jesus
the beauty of 25 prospects and all your future draft picks is you can overpay to get your guy, instead of settling for a guy |

That's my thing, Adams doesn't need the market to open up, he could have set it if he really choose to |

casey had MUCH better linemates in his first 3 years, IMO |

he only needed 3 pieces
a middle 6 winger that plays a 2 way game
a top 4 RD that can play 22 minutes if needed on a given night
a stuart skinner type goalie |

He is right now. Big season for him to prove otherwise. Has an opportunity to win the 3C job, but don't see him in the picture for top 6. He's been extra-bad at LW, so I don't see that. |

Which is absolutely true, but for some reason the market isn’t there right now.
We can huff and puff about Adams not making the trade yet which is fine but I mean nobody else has made that deal yet either.
The exception being Detroit acquiring Debrincant who essentially forced Ottawa’s band to deal him there.

Some players are worth the risk of tampering.

The " could be worse" approach.
I really like quinn, loved the pick.
Him missing a few dozen games, when we have benson, savoie and kulich ready to pace a 14 goal season?
Not trolling, just feel like Quinn's injury doesn't effect this seasons wins or losses IMO. - Boss34

Good post
Preseason should really be fun this year.
Any chance you see cozens play other then 2c?
Mitts seems locked in at 3C. |

A) Could be Kulich/Rousek/Rosen
B) Most of those guys haven’t been dealt yet, and both Clifton and Johnson are upgrades on Joker/Bryson/Lybushkin.
C) To be determined. As much as I hate UPL/Comrie I’d hate giving 5 years to Korpisalo or Jarry more.

sharks got duclair for next to nothing
he would have fit perfectly on cozens wing given the quinn injury |
