Quantifying improvement is tough, but, as an example, replacing Bryson or Lyubushkin, with Clifton last year gets us in. Johnson and Levi are just gravy to me.
Tage, Cozens, Petey, Power, Krebs and Dahlin I think can have career years this year. Skinner, Tuch and Mitts will regress a bit, but are more than covered by the rest, is my guess. - RhinoFan
Quinn's injury will be longer than the combined games missed by that group last year. Definite concern that they don't have the depth to handle. |

Him missing will hurt, for sure, but I heard through the grapevine he's a bit ahead of schedule. We might see him in November. |

I totally defended his hit on Batherson in the Ottawa thread that day just to be an ass. |

Good to hear. Still seems like a tough injury to bounce back from.

You mean the team is going to play a competent team defensive scheme like the '21-'22 wpg jets?

A little under a point per game last season while enduring hip issues. 6 points in 7 playoff games on a team that the coach mismanaged.
He has no cap hit at this point in time and his hip will be greatly improved.
Post less - washedup20
He was so bad defensively he made Olofsson look like a selkie candidate.
All he is at this point is name recognition.
Acquiring Tarasenko and Kane made the Rangers worse and it showed when they got mopped up by the Devils. |

I didn't even know this, he has only played 47 career NHL games. His 19 total last season matched his career high in a single season, which was 19 as a backup in WPG.
Prior to that his season high's were a total of 3 games each season - his numbers:
17/18 WPG: 3.99 / 0.872
19/20 Detroit: 4.28 / 0.864

When have the Jets played any defence ? That’s what makes Hellebyuck’s run even more impressive.
That’s always been their Achilles heel year in and year out.
Will be the Sabres as well if they don’t get it figured out. |

Olo and Kane both finished -23 last season, Kane played majority of the season on a team that was tanking. So that point is wrong.
When he signs and produces more than majority of the Sabres, that name recognition will only improve.
Gallant mismanaged that roster, how the Rangers losing is Kane's fault is a hell of a stretch but that's consistent with the rest of the nonsense you post.
Kane's entire HOF career: +21
Olofsson's career so far: -62 |

They will be better on the PK, better on D and Comrie, if healthy, will outplay UPL |

The Rangers are a below average hockey team carried to the playoffs by a top 2 goaltender in the world.
Acquiring Tarasenko and Kane at the deadline made them even worse defensively than they already are.
Proven by both the eye test and the analytics.
All good things come to an end eventually. Kane will be a first ballot HOF’er and is probably the best American NHL forward to step foot on the ice.
Unfortunately, it’s 2023 not 2019 |

Yeah, affects players differently. Krebs seems to have gotten his speed back, but his edgework suffered a bit I guess. Will be interesting to see how he comes out of it. |
