Well I think any Sabres fan has the right to feel anyway they choose. It hasn't exactly been Fun around are team for awhile. It hasn't exactly been the offseason some thought so again we wait and see.

It was fun watching a team fly up and down the ice and have a bit of success. Buffalo is still on the outside looking in, a lot still needs to go right for them to sniff the playoffs. It's was nice they missed by 1 point, but they had a lot of help from teams around them. I am done with hope, it's time for results.🥱🥱

Why does last season being fun (with no expectations) have anything to do with realizing the team is ready for the next step and the GM doing little to help them take it?

Yeap this is pretty much spot on. If they get in this year thats great but it means everything went right again and it sure doesn't look or feel like a lock.

Sure they are likeable. And some games were fun to watch. But to say it was super fun goes a little too far.

To me it was inexcusable to miss the playoffs as the 3rd highest scoring team. However I can accept last season for what it was.

I can't accept essentially running it back, betting on a rookie goalie and a dman who got benched in the playoffs. I hope they prove me wrong

Well I have to agree, I am very disappointed in this offseason so far. Think with the assets and Cap space Adams should have been able to do more than the Larry's.

Funny story about when the Bills players lived in Amherst. Had a friend who grew up across the street on the same Cul-de-sac as OJ. Used to play with OJ’s son from the first marriage.

Anyway they used to eat Thanksgiving with them or have a Christmas/Holiday get together here and there… said he was amazing. Charismatic, handsome, funny, told the best stories, was generous and friendly…

After hearing about it from my friend, I asked his father and he confirmed OJ was their friend and neighbor and they loved him.

So I ask, well, did he do it?

Without hesitation the father said “Absolutely!” And added that he had the absolute worst temper and a short fuse.

I still think Kato and OJ’s kid helped him.
That’s why OJ’s DNA was on the scene - his son got cut holding one of the victims, and that’s why the glove didn’t fit - Kato was wearing the gloves.

At least that’s how it would have happened If I Had Done It.

I keep coming back to the fact that Granato viewed Olofsson as unplayable during meaningful games down the stretch, and now not only is Olofsson still on the team, he's likely to have an elevated role due to Quinn's absence.

That's not a great response from the GM to his coach. There's a disconnect there for whatever reason
