Totally agree.
Hoping Clifton plays some error free hockey, 2nd or 3rd line minutes.
I see Clifton as a sure 4th in defenseman minutes. Replacing joker most likely - Boss34
Not sure you've heard about "Cliffy hockey"...

If rumors are true and Kane would take a discount to come home (Buffalo top choice)
Would you take him on a 2, 3 year deal? This works not suck:
Tuch/ Tage/ Skims
Kane/Cozens/Mitts
JJ/Krebs/ Olo (or kid/new player)

Or at least carry the nomenclature to its logical conclusion:
- Crunchwrap Supreme
- Grande Crunchwrap Supreme

What does it look like in year 2 and 3, when 4 of your top prospects are all pushing for jobs?
I don't think he fits this team short term or long term.

My understanding is, Clifton plays upbeat hockey.

Would make a little money. So would making the playoffs. Don't know what their priorities are.

Yep, so when he can actually play and just in case they are out by that time he can keep ticket sales up a bit. |

It makes total sense (in a completely illogical way) that TPegs wants Kane. He almost certainly has no idea that a large contingency of Buffalonians think Kane is a dingleberry and instead he recognizes Kane as perhaps the greatest American forward of all-time who happens to hail from our fair city.
Pegula also likely has zero understanding about Kane's declining on-ice impact but thinks he's still MVP Kane from 2012. Pegula has surrounded himself by people who can't or won't disagree with him and those sycophants will instead clap like a bunch of trained seals when Terry pays too much for Kane |

Back in my 20s I would stop at the one at the I-90 rest stop on the way back from Ithaca. Fries were better than Wendy's but the burgers were worse
Also before anyone says it, In-n-Out is obscenely overrated |
