Meh, you should see some of the goals I've scored in the kids vs coaches scrimmages at the end of Mites practices. |

B leagues scary around here. If you get a hat trick it’s head on a swivel the rest of the game. They also don’t call penalties. |

Brent Johnson is a (frank)ing legend! - 10inchTerror
The fact the Islanders felt the need to send a goon out to fight Bent Johnson the next game, after DiPietro wanted the fight, was absurd. In fact, everything in that game was absurd.
- Matt Martin pulling a Bertuzzi on Talbot
- Gilles deliberately injuring Fedotenko.
- Haley picking a fight with a goalie.
I'm all for a bit of violence in hockey, but have some (frank)ing respect. |

Haha yea leagues are way different up around Pittsburgh vs. down here in Florida. Our B league is probably closer to C league up there.

Yeah the isles called up their goons from ahl. Goddard could have took them all 1v1 if they weren’t a bunch of cheap shot artists. But In the end all that will be remembered is BJ dropping dipietro.

There’s a heavy mix of guys here that play both A and B, myself included. But there’s also guys in B living out NHL enforcer dreams who will literally take your head off. |

Goddard didn't even need to leave the bench, BJ had Haley or Gillies, whoever the (frank) it was lol. Johnson was my favorite backup goalie by far. |

I think I'll put Kessel over Recchi. Rex was here 7 years total with 385 points. Phil was here 4 years with 303 points. |

We have those dummies in our B league too, but they're usually guys that belong in C or D. Most of our B league is filled with actual B league players, very few A league, and a decent amount of C leaguers. Guys at our rink play on like 3-4 teams, in like 3-4 different divisions. Expensive as poop down here too.
What's a season run you guys up there? It's like $300-350 per person (depending on team size) down here for 15 games plus playoffs.
Like they can barely skate but they're complete scumbags on the ice. Cross check you on the back as your in front of the net and poop. I don't mind a little physical play in front of the net, pushing and shoving and boxing out for positioning is one thing but blatant cross checks and slashes is a bunch of bullpoop in a league we pay to play in.

Probably, yeah...perhaps more.
Btw...if he must be in the lineup I agree with giving him a shot at net front on PP. Just see how it looks at least. Try that set up with him doing it on the 2nd unit...if it looks good put him on the 1st...that is, if they dont get EK. If they get EK the PP is going to look different.

Easily one of the weirdest games I've ever seen. The Penguins clearly didnt think much of the game going in but the Islanders looked at it like a Stanley Cup game.
It's amazing no one was seriously hurt.

Pretty sure Dipietro never played again after that, had ridiculous concussion issues. And a broken jaw. Tangradi was already concussed and got hit more. I'd say there were serious injuries haha.
Edit: Dipietro was knocked out a few weeks before the crazy game. But Rick started it by clothes lining Cooke(probably deserved lol) and the next match up was ridiculous as we all thought it would be. |
