Just going by the box score on the WJSS site. It shows Moore and Nazar on the Blue, Rinzel and Hayes on White, unless I read it wrong.
- boilermaker100

I was going by what someone said on another site yesterday that Moore and Hayes were on the same line. But u are right. Moore and Nazar on Team Blue and Hayes is on Team White.

Teach me to trust what someone else says.

Though Rinzel is on Team Blue, too.

Guess that explains that, then. I was pretty sure I saw Moore and Hayes both had an assist on their line mates goal yesterday.

From what I read elsewhere Nazar could have put up a bunch of points today if the guys he was playing with converted the opportunities Nazar was creating for them. In that person's opinion Nazar was the best player on the ice for his team by far.

I saw this on Twitter

So I'm thinking Zegras gets a little more than Terry?

Listening to the CHGO Blackhawks podcast today and they suggested that Terry’s deal could be (not that it will be, just could be) a comparable to Reichel’s situation net summer. $7 million may be to rich for #27, but there is the question of locking him up long term or a bridge deal.

Reichel would need to step it up in a really big way this year for that deal, imo.

If Reichel gets traded off next year you'll know why. Too pricy for the output

If he continues to produce like he did last year wouldn't surprise me he gets between 6 to 7 mil per, question is will KD sign him long term.

Nah, use Strome as a comparable. I mean Strome's second contract.

I don't understand this line of thinking. We are going to have to start paying out kiddies sometime.

Saved me that same question ---- because Belfour didn't have a Spawn figure in a Hawks uniform? I don't know -it is all I can think of.

Because Belfour played for the Hawks in the 90's and Amonte was taken as a winger.

I really doubt that an arbitrator would award Reichel 6-7 million unless he goes off for about a point per game this year. Terry has played parts of six seasons in the league and has two 60+ point seasons (in 75 and 70 games played). If Reichel puts up a 60 point season, I can see an arbitrator awarding him a decent bump, but I think a bit more longevity goes a long way here.

Reichel won't be eligible for arbitration next summer.

Troy Terry's new contract is his 3rd after his ELC and a 3 year bridge at 1.4M per.

IMO, at this point in time comparing Terry's new contract with a projected Reichel contract is an apples to oranges comparison.

We would all like to see Reichel become a top 6 player. If he puts up 50-60 points, I hope he would accept a 3 year bridge also for maybe 3 to 4M AAV. After that contract expires he will be arbitration eligible. Then, if he continues to flourish and consistently puts up 60 to 70 points he'll be in line for a big pay day in 2027-28.

With Reichel, next summer will be KD's 1st opportunity to negotiate a post ELC prospect contract. We'll see how he handles it. Many others of those 2nd contracts will have to be negotiated in the upcoming years.

One person's view of the World Junior Summer Showcase day 3 best performers.

https://www.dailyfaceoff....top-performers-from-day-3

No mention of Nazar, but Hayes and Moore made the list.

#29 Gavin Hayes, RW (Chicago Blackhawks): Hayes continues to have a sneaky-good tournament. His work along the boards on the 2-1 marker helped keep the play alive, and it resulted in Gabe Perreault finding Zeev Buium for the goal. There’s a ton of competition to make this roster, but Hayes is making himself known here.

#21 Oliver Moore, C (Chicago Blackhawks): When watching Moore, it’s the speed that you notice first. Not just the top speed, but how he uses it to his advantage, too. He saw a play developing, started to cheat a bit and, suddenly, he was rushing towards the net all alone and scored. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there’s absolutely no reason why he should have fallen to that second Chicago pick.

Like Boiler said he's not eligible but if his quality of play is what KD covets and he puts up 60ish points with this rag tag team, how do you not sign him to a long term deal. I imagine the more talent you surround him with the better he will be.

I would take dach
- LFS

It's seems conzens as been the best of the bunch. Turcott injury prone Dach has been ok but imo is more of a winger, zegras has flashes but took a step back last year. Nzsar still unknown.

I would think how much production comes from Reichel this will determine if he stays with the hawks long term and what numbers he puts up. The Terry deal is a big overpay 5.5 million seems more reasonable imo.

I simply pulled this tweet of twitter.

(Don't blame the messenger)

We will know soon enough, and also see who/if the NHL can / will discipline the players some who were not under NHL contract....

Fair enough. But for Reichel's next deal would you go with a bridge deal or a long term deal? KD could probably lock-up Reichel for his prime years with a 7-8 year deal at a reasonable rate.

Cozens also put up a terrific WJTourney numbers prior.

He is currently surrounded by some talent up front on Sabres.

Dacher was always more of wait and hopefully we hit with a strong big center eventually.
