Other countries still fly DC-3’s in places like S.America. Buffalo has some radials, and probably some other outfits in the north.

Cool. My parents knew Max Ward when he was flying in the North. I flew out of Yellowknife about 3 hours into the bush for a job one summer. It was crazy, especially landing on a river in the middle of nowhere. I do remember looking over the pilot and the other passenger trying to decide who would be a better meal if the plane went down.

Flying on bush planes is fun. I go on the Baslers and caravans pretty often. But after awhile it’s not very scary. They make me fly sometimes haha. That’s when I worry most.
