I just got it for the second time in 6 weeks. Luckily, it didn't get as bad as some. Fever, pain etc.. But no blisters and the pain wasn't debilitating.

Wowza - didn’t know you could Get it twice!

Good to hear the 2nd round wasn’t too bad.

Your picture didn't load, but I assume it's one of those ugly ballsack looking cats.

Nah, grew up outside Chatham. However, I have lived in Oakridge for 7 years now. I’m almost cool. Almost.

I was born in Chatham. I think that makes me certifiably cool. Or something.

Love dogs but they require too much damn work. And when I go on vacation I have to put the thing in a kennel or foist it upon friends/family.

I love the idea of dogs. Practically speaking, gimme a cat.

For sure one of the biggest negatives of owning a dog. Working on finding a reasonable place to leave my border-collie on trips abroad. If we are staying within driving distance always go for pet friendly places. Health issues, crazy vet bills and dealing with the death of a dog is the hardest part. Nothing like having a dog, they are better than humans. They will love even a poopty owner.

Cats and dogs are both super rad. I'm interested in getting a parrot too.

My next cats are gonna be named Fraulein, also Dr. Pepper and Senõr Chocula. Dog named Igamo Itto, and parrots C. August Dupin and Waffles.

I find dropping a dog off with someone is easier than doing that with a cat.

Dogs can adjust for the most part but cats can just decide they don't like the change and be little bumholes about it.

A Parakeet would be cool. Train it to fly to you on command. That'd be sweet.

My friend named his cat Sir Sniffington, it's a Scottish Fold. And my brother named his dog Patrick. He's a Bulldog Shar Pei mix.

Depends on the cat

Our ragdoll is young but smart as hell, I can let him out and he knows now to stay in our yard because I’ll put him back inside if he doesn’t. He learned rather quickly tbh lol

My friends tried the same with their 2 cats. But they both kept (frank)ing off through the fence.

One time my buddy opened his front curtains to see what it was like outside and one of his cats was just laying on the front lawn already. Snuck out the back somehow and was just chilling out front.

One of their cats is black, so the little poop is invisible at night. They spent a long time looking for him. My friend ended up rolling her ankle and falling to the ground in pain the cat walked 2 feet in-front of her mocking her, since she couldn't reach him.

good ol’ cats lol

The reason I let him hang out front is because we have a covered porch I can sit on while he does. Being an $800 guy my gf would kill me if I ever lost him, to her I’m pretty sure the cat is worth more than me

Do love how we named him tho, I go by my middle name but my first name is Robert, making me a Bert, so we named him Ernie

One of our cats really wants to be outside but my wife is terrified that something will happen to him. We compromised by letting him out but putting on a long ass leash. He wanders around and has a couple of hunting spots where he hides under a tree/bush and waits for some dumb mouse to wander by. I just have to check periodically that I can still see the leash

Been AWOL a few days. Wife has been in the hospital with cholangitis. Got pretty serious, but now she is better and being discharged today. I'll be back to my annoying self in the forum soon.

Bolded- How the (frank) did I never put that together?!

My brothers dog has turned out to be an expensive boy. His ears are so small inside, that he keeps getting infections. So they spend so much on trying to fix it. Making my brother angry, since he's working a lot of OT to get really for his little girl coming in October. And all the OT pay is going towards the boy.

Hopefully you don't lookout and see the leash going up and your cat fighting a hawk.

Because my simple additions are far too simple they go unnoticed

As for the little guy with those ears I’m sorry to hear that lol

Seriously tho, good to know he’s a good pup owner even when irritating
