most of these defensemen are still a few years away anyway, but Mailloux is probably the most NHL ready of the said bunch

defensemen take up to 4 or 5 years to develop from their draft year, sometimes more. But this is a rebuild and mtl has the time to wait.

That being said, dont fall from you chair if mtl go get a RHD on the market to play with the kids and help them grow. It was a bit too much for them last season and it shown at times.

TBH I don't think she hated Montreal, she hated the sanitary measures during Covid. Now that the virus no longer exists maybe she changed her mind and didn't say no to coming back. I remember the family being very involved in the community before 2020

Oh I think you are 100% right on this, it was more about the covid measures than mtl. Most people were willing to deal with anything the goverments were throwing at them, but other people had other plans. I am working as a social worker in a hospital right now. A few months back, they would have never hired me with no covid ''vax.'' Things have changed.

But it was more funny for my story to write it that way than to be accurate
