I never quite understood why they traded away Hronek. He would make that defensive unit look much better. You'd have to assume they are expecting Edvinsson to fully graduate this season. But still....

I've never liked Hronek, so I think him being there still makes it a really bad D-core. But if they did still have him, then maybe they wouldn't have signed the worst defense man in the league to a 3 year deal worth $1.4M more than his last deal that he already wasn't worth.
