These type of paragraphs, written by a corporate journalist who analyze strictly what's on paper is foolish.

Including Adams, who can name a Sabres GM in the history of the organization that has signed an impactful FA? What Sabres team has depended on free agency to build their roster?

The Sabres, who we are told were waiting for teams in the east to age out, are still mid teir, while those teams are still above them lol. The writer did say Buffalo is a little head of Chicago who is in year 1 of a rebuild....
