Eichel isn't a leader, that doesn't mean he isn't a winner.

If you want to define a player by one series, there's no arguing the point. This is like when McDavid got knocked out by WPG in 4 games, but didn't score in the final two so it was his fault.

You can take him, the rest of the league takes AM. Sorry it's not particularly close. And Vegas made the Conference Finals (twice?) and the SCF twice in 6 seasons. I'd say they were set up to win.

In my opinion, that cup should have a price tag etched into the side along with the names of the individuals who won it as I think the players mattered about as much as the money invested. From the expansion rules to cap circumvention, that cup wasn't won, it was acquired.

More importantly, what do you think the chances are they're rush plan is to swing around like morons and drop it back 50' at any sign of pressure? I think its the worst breakout I have ever seen and the entire league uses it.

There are still several players around the league who want or need to be moved. MTL has 3 goalies, as does Buffalo. Sabres have 14 defensemen, Toronto is over the cap significantly and Calgary has a bunch of guys Who Don't Want To Be Here.
