PK88 joining the Sabres to end the playoff drought does pass the vibe check, I just don't know if they are willing to overlook the off ice stuff. I mean, he's great, we used to play together, but he did turn into a pecker after he got famous.

I am not concerned with writers opinions, at the draft, 12 NHL GM's valued size and passed on Benson, that is what happened.

1) Benson - writer says he is not worried about size, thinks he could make the NHL this season

2) Levi - writer is worried about size and thinks putting him the NHL this early is high risk

3) Kulich - compared to Victor Olofsson

4) Savoie - writer doesn't know where he will play in the Sabres lineup due to so many players already in his position

5) Ostlund - writer says he needs to work on strength and won't even suggest where he could end up in the Sabres organization until the end of next year.

They all have promise and talent, 3 of the 5 players on this list play the same style and the writer doesn't even know where/how they will all fit in the lineup.

I hear ya, was just pointing out that some talking heads seemed to like it. At least we aren't alone in liking the kid. Makes sense too, the list of small forwards who got passed on, only to become All Stars, is long.

Depends what you believe, he had an accusation of sexual assault at a club a few years ago. I don't remember how that went, but the incident with the taxi driver was a long time ago now, you're right.

That's such an odd comparison. I mean, Kulich has the shot, so I guess if we're looking at a singular skill, they have some likeness. But Kulich is the far superior skater and he can actually distribute the puck well. Always seems to make the right play in the o-zone, particularly coming off the wall. Olo possess none of those skills IMO.
