This is a great question, and the answer being implemented by this revolutionary GM is to put the 3rd goalie at wing. Who better to know what the other goalie is going to do during the play...I know what your next question will be, and yes, the player will wear goalie skates while playing forward, in case both goalies go down he can fill in.

IMO they did not lock samuelsson up for 7 years to play him on the bottom pair

he is easily their 3rd best d man and will get over 20 minutes a night

Hoffman, Petry (twice) and Karlsson all have been traded this month, it's slow but hockey trades are out there. Big names have moved this offseason, Adams over valued his prospects/picks/roster players during last season and this summer, that has handcuffed him during this tight offseason.
