I'd think the only way that signing is made is if someone isn't going to be ready for training camp either Pearson or Mikky.

Aman is waiver exempt & good depth who can develop in Abby.

Perfect replacement for when Tanev is traded to Buffalo for a 2nd round pick. Flip him at the deadline for another 1st round pick. Flames comeback and take the wildcard spot from the Canucks, bumping Vancouver to that illustrious 16th overall pick.

How do you feel about this signing? I know you had concerns at center with only Blueger as the 3C but I would have to think this adds to the depth bumping Aman to 5C?

There is nobody in here that is high on next season being great. There are a few who can see turning the corner is beginning. Too bad the prospect pool isn’t there to feed growth & the cheap elc’s needed.

I’ll be satisfied seeing structured hockey & more consistency. The results will be what they’ll be. This season should be the 1st year Allvin is fully responsible for the roster. Myers is expiring & all others appear to be healthy. Only the OEL buyout is the leftover legacy.

Colliton & the farm have trended well of late & need to see big jumps from key prospects. Others in NCAA & SHL etc included. D Petey & Truscott & other recent D picks will be interesting to follow this year.
