How do we increase his value? Put him in the minors!
- mr.peanut

see, now you are using logic

put a guy in he minors that can actually help your team and that you can deal at the 24 TDL or even later if you want to. Kids would benefit while all being in their sophomore. They had to do too much last season and it shown

If mtl did not want Petry, they would not have trade for the guy in the first place

So you agree.

Nothing has been said.

Other than assumptions.

nothing has been said publicly

pretty sure our gm had a convo with him before the trade went down

just because its not on RDS, does not mean it did not happen

I agree.

HuGo is not going to take a player to not play them (unless it is a buyout, which clearly this is not).

He can live with Petry in the lineup on opening night, or he will make some moves, perhaps Petry (or someone else on defence) before the season starts to keep maximizing assets.

Petry is not a terrible player, statistically still a strong 3-4 guy. Someone will eventually bite, HuGo will wait patiently.

So many comments I could make, but I will try to keep it respectful and let you all imagine them for yourselves.

I think they will wait for the camp to be done with and most likely start the season with what they have now. Maybe they wont be fully healthy to start the season either. Great if they are, but you know.

And I think a lot of fans are overthinking the trade for Desmith or the fact that that piece came back.

If somebody take Primeau on waivers, they still have Desmith that can play in Laval and be call back if they need to. They will have another young prospect in Laval this year, it would makes sense.

Sure both could be claimed on waivers or not, but they could figure that part if that scenario does happen. Maybe they dont have a plan C, but a plan B is a start.

Even if some fans think nobody would claim Primeau, Im pretty sure thats why Demith is now on board.

This dude would probably be the first one to complain if it was a Leaf fan saying that about a deceased Habs prospect

it should not have anything to do with being a Leafs, a Bruins or a Habs player or prospect

he was only 21 and now he is dead. Its a tragedy.

Whatever, but I hope we dont see too much of that around here

Not too much, back from the cottage for a few days at work.

How’s your summer going so far?

Also fellas, I think snots post was a joke, referring to a leafs ref (Dozzer maybe).

He posted a while back about his kids, I don’t remember in what context, again a joke.

It’s not the first time, ‘if he dies, he dies’ has been used in here.

In fact the original post was ‘if they die, they die’

Not a funny one, but a joke none the less.

Both posts..

Spending the summer at the office with the new job. Its a challenge, but there is a lot of people in need for help, so I guess I got what I wanted in that sense.

A few days or a week end in a cottage would do me good as well. I did not have some real vacations this summer and now this has been true back to back, two years in a row. Maybe worst than that if I go back in time. And no, looking out for a job or my next move was not some type of vacation either.

Maybe I could see what would or could be my options for one or two days away from crazy mtl?

And you are most likely right, Snot must have been joking, but not the best joke out there. To each its own, I guess.

Well, get a few more months in and you should be able to take a day or two off

Sounds like you’re really into your work helping people.

That’s good thing.

I had a few days off already (saint-jean baptiste, Canada day and for some reason we were closed last monday). Im off on Labour day as well and thats coming soon enough.

That could be my chance to leave for a week end. Just have to figure out if I can rent a cottage with somebody or find an option to get away. A long week end would do for now, I would say.
