So let me understand this. Kane's only public comments have been that he's going to focus on getting healthy and then evaluate his options at that time. This is basically what Friedman reported a few weeks ago as well. He's in no rush to sign. Wants to see who is contention and where he thinks might be a good fit.

All seems logical to me.

But now enter this mysterious "friend". So Kane confides to his "friend" that he's already got it all figured out. He already knows which contender he'll be joining. No need to see who gets injured or which teams get hot. Kane knows.
