But was that just because he was one of those genetic freaks at the time, and that's why he fell off later in his career? I don't even know. But I read things about how if he'd been a psycho like Crosby or McKinnon he would be in that superstar echelon because of his talent.

Ya JVR said Phil was a freak athletically. He could leg press a ton and could apparently dunk a basketball. He’s also a huge favourite in all the locker rooms because he’s a funny bastard.

Right?! Hotdogs are great. Mustard, Dijon mustard, onions. (frank)ing great.

Also chili dogs. And pulled pork dogs.

There's a hotdogs stand out in Oakville that serves you up a hotdog with a cut up sausage on top of it. It's fantastic.

I like just about every style of dog. I ate 10 of them at Jays game a while ago, before the opening pitch.

Bikefishing, yes! I got a collapsible rod that fits in a backpack for just this purpose. Or my heavier rod can be velcro strapped to the top tube. Really fun way to access some waters.

I'm gonna do the Simcoe Trail Loop again this fall, and some rails trail in Prince Edward County.

So our course is members only but we have a 2 day tournament with 216 teams that you can partner with someone that isn’t a member. It’s 2 man teams. You each play your own ball and take the best score on the hole between you and your partner. Big leaderboard up so you can see where everyone is sitting. It’s handicapped so you get 76% of your strokes. If your a 8 handicap you get a stroke on 6 of the hardest holes.

A long, long time ago, me and a couple of buddies visited McGill (one of the guy's girlfriend went to school there).

The campus pub had something called "Beat the Clock."

I can't remember the exact prices, but it was basically this:

7 pm - 8 pm: beers were $2.

8:01 pm - 9 pm: beers were $2.50

9:01 pm - 10 pm: beers were $3

And it just kept going all night.

This was Montreal in the dead of winter, and it was about 4-5 degrees Kelvin.

We were so hammered at the end of the night, we made hats out of the student newspaper, in a sad attempt to not get frostbitten ears for the walk home.
