No matter what Drury wants, Panarin isnt going anywhere without him waiving his NMC.

That being said I wouldnt think of trading him yet. His success with the Bluejackets might be attributed to the no pressure situation, where he wasnt suppose to win where as here in NY, he is suppose to win. His failure under DQ and Gallant could be attributed to the coaches not being hard on him for his lackadaisical play and holding him responsible for it in the playoffs.

I think Laviolette is a different type of coach that GG and DQ and will bring more out of Panarin. Even if he just gets him to tighten up his play a bit and make him more responsible in the defensive zone and instills more hustle out of him on the back check, I think the numbers will come.

If he cant get more out of him these coming playoffs, the Rangers will have 2 more years of the Dave Winfield of hockey!!!

Winfield until 92 ALCS and that narrative is from the 81 World Series, which was his only post season appearance

He needs to stop curling to the sideboards for cross ice passes and just continue to skate to the net. Opportunities open up for either a shot or a pass. Friday night open men’s no check hockey with pretty plays does not work in the playoffs. Gliding around the rink doesn’t work. Getting your hands dirty is necessary. What sense is 100 points during the regular season make when he disappears in the playoffs? My seats cost too much in the playoffs for me to stomach his no shows

EIGHT 👏 MORE 👏 YEARS 👏

We’ve signed forward Brandon Hagel to an eight-year contract extension worth an AAV of $6.5 million.

Hagel or Kreider at the same cap hit?

Kreider in Pay (e3)

Talking to a source this morning and Chris Kreider is a name that has popped up a few times in the last 72 hours….Colorado, Detroit, and Minnesota have all reached out. Curious as to if the Rangers are actually going to move him…and if so, there must be something else they arew considering…
