I think Duehr over Jones if he plays like he did last year.

Zary is my darkhorse but Ruzicka not being waiver exempt wont help Zary.
Hell ya Duehr is a lock..... he's one of our few forwards with size and speed.

Man its hard to listen to crickets when many things need to happen.
Saw Flames Nation saying Lindholm extended for 8 years is not a wise move but I think Lindholm is important piece to keep. He's a 1st line centre, not a prolific scoring one but a solid 65-70 point player that plays a great 2 way game. Looking at his & Bergerons stats over the last 5-6 years they are like mirror images. But I get why many are worried about another big money long term older player being inked.
The contract that concerns me more is Kadri. I wonder if we did a flip of Kadri for Kuznetsov with Washington would be worth doing. I think Kadri is probably the better player right now but Kuznetsov is only 2 more years, right about when we need $$$ to extend Coronato, Pelts & Wolf & those contracts may get pricey.
But Lindholm we need because we have nothing in the pipeline for a top line centre & we sure wont get one from a Lindholm or Hanafin trade unfortunately.

That’s not a horrible lineup. They would need a lot of guys to have really good years to make it to the playoffs.

Not a whole lot different than the one last year many experts picked to win the division.

Could swap Sharangovich and Coronato, then Dube and Pelletier. You’d have the old Kadri playing with the 2 kids

The D is big, Weegar Tanev, Zadorov, Andersson, Hanifin.
Kadri, Backlund both play big, was suprised saw Backs listed at 206. Both Coleman and Mangipani play big. I think speed is more important with this aging lineup.
Conroy and team identified speed and size at this years draft. I believe Morin was the smallest pick they took and he’s got a ton of skill to make up for it.

I think Zary would benefit with being the #1 center with the Wranglers for a year, id be more interested in testing Jones or maybe Klapka as the extra forward.

I know we’re all waiting for some action but I don’t see any changes/trades before the season starts. Unless someone blows Conroy out of the water with an offer, I think they’ve decided to wait it out.

Training camp will be a battle as barring an unexpected trade, I think 4 of the 13 spots up front are up for grabs (Coronato, Pelts, Ruzicka, Zary are all in the mix but guaranteed nothing).
