I saw someone on Strange Addictions addicted to coffee enemas
- jimbro83

Those types of shows are the best.

I don't remember if it was intervention or my strange addiction but there was the walking on sunshine girl and the one who was obsessed with gasoline and would put it on her lips and keep cups all over the house.

I think that makes it even less interesting. Plus I see the dregs that hangout waiting for the dispensaries to open and it looks even worse.
- JRR1285

I’m not really making an argument for you to try it or any drug now. Just calling you a square for not doing it when you were younger

yep she was addicted to smelling gasoline, it made her hair turn gray by like 35 years old and extreme memory loss, but oh man that smell is worth it

Sure, but I felt the same even then. Just wasn't a big thing in my circle of friends.

I just remember listening to the doctors describe what she was doing to her brain/body and being horrified but also dying laughing.

I prefer to do that alone, even to this day. Only MDW has participated.

I kinda feel like that was the point of legalizing.

That seems funny to me. Since, when I visited NYC in March I had no idea it had been legalized. The entire area around Broadway smelled of either cannabis or urine!!

That's just the subway.

That was definitely Intervention and definitely entertaining television!!!
Also, remember seeing a girl who was bulimic and hid her vomit in large freezer bags in the back of her closet!!! What the actual (frank)?!?!?!?!??! No toilets in the house????

There's one I go through everytime I go to my doctor's office that smells absolutely rank, expecially when it's hot out. I think it's the Broadway/Herald Square stop. So (frank)ing bad.

Yeah, and I was/am for it. I am a little put off by how many people there are that drive while high and/or actively smoking/vaping. But I guess it is lumped in with the driving while distracted/texting/intoxicated group. I just don't think anybody ever gets pulled over for it though. Either way, driving in NYC and LI is a (frank)ing clown show.

That's simple truth!!
I stated minutes after getting on to the island that never under any circumstances would I drive a car in Manhattan!

Luckily I have a set path I take to the doctor so I don't get the full NYC subway experience.

Didn't have time to make it out there. I was referring to the island of Manhattan. Since our arrival was delayed by about 8 hours due a snow storm on March 14th, we missed out on a few things we had planned to see/do.

Oh, understood.

Any plans to come back? Or is that good enough for a life time?

No, I loved it!! Had an amazing time (once the $104 CAD cab ride from the airport was over). I'll be back for sure.

I bet one of us would drive you for less than that.

That's absurd.

That honestly sounds about right from JFK or LGA. That was CAD, so (right now, anyway) about $75 USD to go to Manhattan from Queens is pretty fair.
