Nothing. I think the answer is nothing. Armia is the grinder version of Drouin. |

He has to stay healthy, it's been a big problem his whole career. He has played more than 61 games only once in his NHL career (8 years). |

Armia has 2 years left on his current contract, as you said he has a cap hit of 3.4M but he will make 4.8M this year and 3.8M next year (back loaded contract from Bergevin).
If he stays healthy this season and can produce a bit, they might be able to move him next summer, they may have to retain salary. His replacement will move from Jrs to AHL this season (Joshua Roy)...the pressure to move him will be next summer. |

Flashes of a good power forward, disappears for long stretches. Decent/good defensively, highly inconsistent offensively. Always injured....for most of his career. |

Laval does not need him infecting their culture. Knowing Armia, he'll get injured sitting in the press box. Complete waste of space |

you're dreaming imo, even with if, a bit, and might.
I expect Armia will be here for 2 full years and walk for free. haha

He'd due for a breakout year. I'm sure a lot of teams are going to line up next summer for a player that costs 1.7M and got 39 points the previous season |

so MUCH potential....so LITTLE to SHOW for his time as a HAb. Time I reckon to move on. |

that's why he can be potentially traded next season, he will have 1yr left on his contract, he will be 31yrs old next year. He might also have some value at the TDL, he's a big guy, when healthy can play a heavy game and he is decent at protecting the puck. Habs have one spot left for salary retention, Armia is definitely a candidate they could use it on. Same with Savard for the next TDL. |
