Btw, since it was asked last thread, I actually agree with Pete in BBQ porkchop prep. I generally just use a spice blend. Anything you want to hard sear shouldn't have BBQ sauce, you'll just burn the sugars in it. It's different if you're smoking a thick cut chop, then sauce it and keep it wet over slow indirect heat. Remember, it's also no longer the dark ages where you have to cook pork to death. A nice light pink on the inside is perfect. Between 145-155°F is perfect. (160 is well done)

Yzerman had to gut that team of bad contracts, failed draft picks, and little else to show.

He has started to build it back up, but unlike the Habs, decided to bring in the newer kids slower by signing some vets to fill in the spaces (like the old Red Wings ways, of when he was in their system).

Just a different approach than Montreal.

Copp and Compher as your 2-3 centers is not terrible for the team they are right now.

At the end of the day, I would not bet against Stevie Y.
