Open enrollment period for health insurance is a bigger farce than universal health insurance for everyone like what a fücking joke you have to wait for November 1st any given year to wnroll. - Jet Jaguar BD
I'm slowly becoming my own doctor. I cut my leg doing some limbing in the yard last week, said F it, Googled how to do stitches and did it myself. F these vultures. |

Diggs- has been a hit but he traded a 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th. Then Minny drafted Jefferson with the 1st, taking the wind out of sails on that.
Allen - grand slam. It's why Beane has been extended. Huge hit.
Oliver- big miss. Average starter, two of the next three DT off the board picks later are all pros. And Wilkins is better too.
Rousseau- average but for where he was drafted that late in 1st a hit.
Kinkaid- will make or break McBeane's tenure here. If he hits we are good, another miss and we are in big trouble with our cap situation.
Elam- huge bust. 4th on depth chart a year after being drafted. Rumors he was/is being shopped already. Sticks out on tape being constantly smoked.
Edmunds- another miss. Was never a difference maker for us, we traded up to get him and he's already off the roster. Was a whipping boy for many on here, was an average starter for us at least.
Atrocious 2nd and 3rd round picks.
As I stated, Allen is saving his career as a GM, and deserves some slack for hitting that pick. BUT If we don't make the AFC championship this year a change of McBeane should be done. Can't waste a hall of fame QB in Allen. Might not make a difference but it's the NFL, if you are spinning your tires you are losing. - Fattony1187
You can play the “look who was drafted after player x “ for every single GM.
Ed Oliver is not a miss. He was literally extended with a sizable contract because he’s an excellent player
You really should look at what other contending teams drafts look like who never or rarely draft top 10. It’s hits and misses all over the place
The supa amazing Chiefs organization spent a 1st on Clyde Edwards-Helaire and a 2nd on Sky Moore and they absolutely blow |

we literally got a top 5 wr for this trade and the go to guy for our franchise qb
has any of our late first rd picks since that trade sniffed a pro bowl level of play, no
hell our cb was playing special teams in the first quarter saturday instead of covering the top wr's for the bears
as for what jefferson is doing, means nothing as who knows who beane would have drafted w/o the trade
4189 yards and 29 td's in 3 years is alright in my book

Always liked Pyser, hopefully he gets another shot. - DirtyDan
Same here ….. maybe 5-6 years ago. (When ever he was 1st on the Sabres). He was a good skater and good passer with average offense. But it was amazing to see a player be able to consistently make good break out passes
Then along the way, the game got more skilled. So your Psysks or now your jokers are not skilled enough to keep up |

Why? He’s not really that good or an improvement over Allen |

Now if they could convince the proud STH's who conspire against the team by selling their tickets to fans of opposition teams while boasting about being STH's.
" The hope, of course, is a big season and a playoff push will keep fans coming to the games and not selling off their tickets as a sort of odd investment vehicle."
Abhorant behavior really from these so called "fans" |

I really like the Caps idea of selling the ST at a discounted rate which prevents them from offloading to third party.
Another idea I hope they considered would be to limit the 100 and 200 level to local zip codes until like an hour before faceoff or something.

Being a season ticket holder is a business and is handled accordingly.
StubHub doesnt post which team the buyer is rooting for btw.

Right, Sabres finally look good and we need to change the ticket sales rules 😀
(frank)s every sth who have stuck by the team thru all these poopty seasons.
Zip code restrictions hurts the Sabres fans heading back home for the holiday games. Now they can pay secondary market prices. |

17. Ottawa Senators
Last Year: 8th
“It’s infuriating that this far into a rebuild, Dorion decides to mortgage the future, deplete the prospect pool by trading all of our picks, yet we still haven’t made the playoffs. Meanwhile, Buffalo and New Jersey had the patience to stick with the plan and are starting to reap the rewards.”
“Dorion has mitigated a lot of the damage from this offseason, but I’m still less confident in him than I was at this time last year. The new ownership situation may pay dividends soon, but for now, our management finds itself in a precarious position of its own making.”
Remember Hot Dorion Summer? Good times.
While the public remains high on the Senators front office — mostly thanks to a strong draft grade — the fan base has become a lot more cautious. That likely has a fair bit to do with the DeBrincat Debacle over the last year, a predictable circumstance of a non-playoff team trading for a non-elite player. It was an interesting gambit, but one that didn’t work out in the short term and likely cost them in the long term. Ottawa did OK to salvage some value in a trade earlier this summer. Still, that value pales in comparison to what the Senators traded for him — for just one year of him to boot.
That probably colors a league-worst trade grade from fans and it probably doesn’t help that a team with goaltending issues traded one of the league’s best goalies away last summer for nothing … or the captain of the Stanley Cup champions for a highly touted prospect that hasn’t quite panned out.
The hope is that things might be different with Jakob Chychrun, but his early results with the Senators weren’t very promising. It’s hard not to agree with the fan base over public perception here. The latter views Ottawa as a team on the rise and the Senators still might be that, it’s just more difficult to see them reaching their full potential after how the last year has gone.

You just hate to see it. - TheSabresTaco
“I don’t think GMKA gets the respect he deserves outside of Buffalo for his rebuild of the entire organization. I considered the Sabres the worst-managed professional sports team in North America (maybe the world) in 2020. The three-year turnaround is nothing short of remarkable in my opinion.”
All built on hope still, they were 1 point out of the playoffs 4 years ago.
"To get there, Buffalo will need to do a better job of finding strong, external solutions the way New Jersey has. Strong drafting and developing only goes so far and the Sabres’ work in trades and on the free-agency front does leave a bit to be desired at the moment. Maybe it’s the team being patient, but for now, it’s the difference between ranking eighth and somewhere in the top five."
Fair
The paragraph calling the Sabres the it team of the league is ridiculous.
Also hilarious that Botts is ranked right behind him at 9th - Adams owes Botts a beer. |
