The willingness to be dumb is probably what bothers us most. You’re literally about 50% of the posts in this blog, it’s kind of hard to not read them when every other post is Buff36.
You make fun of a senile old man… maybe our poor leadership is a result of your poor literacy. - Jet Jaguar BD

Just because my writing might not be good, doesn't make someone Dumb. Dumb enough to retire in my 50's and enjoy life. And 50%, I would say you and you 7 Altenates are on here a lot more than me. - Buff36

Well glad you had common sense too then. Not sure why you lumped me in with pro-politician. I despise all of them. Where are the plumbers, electricians, nurses, public safety members representing me? All rich elites taking taxes away, packaging a bill with a trendy headline where 1% of the money goes to that headline and 99% goes back to their donors. All disgusting people. - Fattony1187

I still can't understand how people think Adams is a bad GM, because he didn't spend foolishly ? We got good players locked up on very good deals for term that is below market. |

It's the 1st year for 2 of the deals signed by Adams, very good deals is premature.
Bill Zito and Tom Fitzgerald both were hired at the same time, as a comp, he's not doing enough. Team still has obvious holes.

Were their first years cleaning out major players on the team?
Zito came in and instantly started acquiring vets and younger guys who hadn't panned out. And then acquired Reinhart in the deal with us.

3 different owners with 2 almost with 2 of the same mindsets except from the last owner. Pegula wants to win but not at a cost. |

So it doesn't matter how good Adams is presumed, ownership...and now president, is the problem...yet hope remains.

And Ka inherited a cancer. Cut it out and now we are 4 months removed from a 1 pt difference in us complaining like we have been all summer or what could have been. - DirtyDan
The Sabres were 1 point out of the playoffs with that cancer 4 seasons ago, they are just back to what they were pre-covid, with more potential in the system. Same holes in the NHL as before. Botts and Adams are ranked next to each other for a reason.

Also the cancer is the current president of the organization, not a young top 10 center in the game.

Eichel trade rumor from buffalo to ottawa.
Buffalo's Ask For A Failed Jack Eichel Trade Revealed

Buffalo's Ask For A Failed Jack Eichel Trade Revealed
AUG 29, 2023 | BY JAMES CONNELLY
The Buffalo Sabres came close to trading Jack Eichel to the Ottawa Senators, but the deal fell apart due to the Sabres' insistence on receiving an untouchable player in return.
Details of the Unsuccessful Eichel Trade
Recently, a social media post revealed the trade conditions the Buffalo Sabres had presented to the Ottawa Senators for Jack Eichel.
image
While the exact trade details remain undisclosed, it's clear that the offer extended beyond just Sanderson's involvement. The finalized Eichel trade brought Alex Tuch, Peyton Krebs, a 1st-round pick, and a 2nd-round pick to Buffalo in exchange for Eichel and a third-round pick.
Sanderson Analysis
image
In his debut NHL season, 21-year-old Jake Sanderson exhibited remarkable potential. His impressive stats, including 32 points over 77 games, showcased not only offense but also defense. Notably, within the Senators' struggling defensive lineup, Sanderson stood out as the second-best defensive defenseman, trailing only Artem Zub.
Given his age, Sanderson's capacity for growth remains substantial, positioning him to become a pivotal top-pairing defenseman and a future leader for the Senators.
Although the addition of Jack Eichel as a first-line center would undoubtedly strengthen the Senators' roster, the ascent of Tim Stützle has seemingly alleviated the team's long-term need for Eichel's role. By keeping Sanderson, we won't get to see Stutzle and Eichel play together but thankfully the Senators have plenty of elite forwards.

Imagine if our taxes paid for government stipends to cover campaign costs. The higher level of the campaign position, the larger the fund. Money would be capped for all people running for office. Funds would be limited during primaries (30% maybe) and then the incumbent and primary challenger would receive the rest of the 70%. Eliminate all fund raisers for individuals. Fund raisers for DNC/RNC groups only. Those funds may not be incorporated into any individual campaign.
This would allow anyone, literally anyone, to run. It would be up to the local DNC/RNC chairs to choose up to 5 people to run, those 5 people would receive government funds relatable to the position they are trying to secure. So of course a local congressman gets the lowest amount and president the highest.
Expense reports for every dime spent must be submitted and verified by the local D/R chapters. This is how you make the rich and the poor equal.
Of course, there's local influence as well. Terry Pegula knows more people than me. Perhaps people who make over 500k annually should be disqualified from office, at the very least local office. |

That's the biggest thing, think Adams has done a good job of adding talent. But the same Questions that where there when he started Goaltending and Defense are still there 4 years later. Hopefully Levi and who they brought in changes that. |
