I obviously didn’t have to use my snowblower this past winter. I’m assuming I should run it

Run it dry/ use stabilizer?

I googled it and in 2012 a super strain popped up and it’s been game over ever since
- picklerick

Weird. Somebody mentioned it to me last year, I said I thought that was a cow or sheep disease. I had never heard of it for humans

Yeah, and at the end of the winter get stabilizer. also there are grease points on the axle, if you dont have a grease gun get one and do it.

Change it every year, it will break down.

Run it empty with stabilizer added. I have stored my snowblower completely full (to avoid having air in the tank that would facilitate moisture) and it was fine the next season.

This is where I slack on my small engine maintenance. I use synthetics so it helps with the longer intervals.

Yeah, I dont go that crazy with oil, just add it when needed. Only thing I change oil on is my power washer

My favorite one was for someone who ate them on a plane and when they got up to rush to the toilet they farted in someone's face getting past them and they gasped and almost vomited.

People have different experiences on it. More oil changes are never a bad thing.

We have too large of a lawn for that. Would take like 5 hours.

It takes me about an hour and a half with a riding mower. Push is like two and a half.

Also if your snoblower has sheer pins, buy some extra. Ive never needed it, but both my neighbors have gone through about 4 of em. Sucking up newspapers, ect..

For sure. I think mine uses sheer bolts but same premise. It even came with a few in case. Not sure where they are though.

They gave me extra. Idk what they are but they seem like a scam. Why do they break so easily

If they didn't break the snowblower would break in a more serious manner.
