actually I think he had a virus that turned into a lower-body injury last season...
he'll be fine, and he'll make your hawks eat crow (not sure if that's bird cannibalism but whatever). - Pat1993
ilike the guy taken with the pick much better. he even plays bigger than dach.
the (frank) ever heard of a virus turning into a lower body injury. the kid is cursed. it happens.

Caufield Suzuki wouldn't be a bad 2nd line - fidopro
Still think they should split up CC and Suzuki for a better balanced offense.
But whatever.

they could also be forming a very good top-tier #1 line with the right player to complete them.

I find their chemistry is pretty damn obvious, but ok.

this season probably yes,
but in a few years, when Slaf and Dach are ready to become what we expect them to be... no problemo. just find them a winger not too dumb and fast enough. |

I still think it would be fun to see a Slaf, Dach, Anderson line... lotta beef on that trio.

Let's just say it wasn't a spectacular draft. I will watch it of course, mainly to know who pushed for Florian Xhekaj in the 4th round |

I am fine with Reinbacher, and get the loading up on goalies given how weak the Habs are at that position from a prospects perpective..
Just not sure if their picks were value picks or not, will be interesting to see how they ended up with those players and the thought process behind them (if they go into that granular of details).

sure - Pat1993
you can't deny he has some freak injuries. even his wrist injury was freakish. it was really a nothing hit but his wrist was in the absolute worse position. it was a one in a million occurrence. and for some reason, he seems to make the other teams want to run him. at least when he was with the hawks. he would get run at least twice a game. |

pretty sure that was the only "freak" injury, no? anyway, you're convinced he's cursed, I think he'll be fine, we'll see what happens

We drafted the third best goaltender available on the official Scabeh list.
And we did so in the third round.
I think that was spectacular.

I was a goaltender growing up so I have somewhat some knowledge of what's good or bad about a goaltender's play.
Fowler has alot of potential, great compete and impressive mouvements. He could improve his technique and positionning alot but luckily, these are the easiest things to work on.
Oh and I read he's slightly overweight, slimming down could go a long way. Just like Price in 2014. |
