someone in my group chat among friends and family mention something about possible rule changes maybe being discussed.
like if a team is on a delayed powerplay (penalty by other team) and they score, the penalty and powerplay still remain.
if a team scores on the powerplay the powerplay doesn't end
if a team scores short handed the penalty ends.

I think those might of been the rule at one time. Like in the early years when Murdoch patrolled the streets of Toronto.
Heck what if they said no more falling to your knees to make stop for goalies.
All goalie must stay up to make the save ....
Cush would like this one . snitker snitker snitker |

These are old rules they changed for the Habs (yuck) and / or the Dynasty Oilers I believe.
Goalies must stand up sounds like a terrible idea although it was a rule back in the day. If that is the case no more composite sticks, curved blades or helmets allowed for players. Shin pads can only be cloth or sears magazine, no plastic and goalies have full ability to "Billy Smith" anyone at any time no penalty on the play!

But he’s anti science😡😡😡😡
him and all of the russians need to be thrown into reeducation camps for our own safety 😡😡😡😡 - Skalapy
There are some who still hold a grudge that he didn't get the COVID jab.
Personally, IDGAF. Now that we know the vaccine doesn't act as a prophylaxis and doesn't prevent spreading the virus the only person he can affect is himself. If he doesn't want the protection it affords, that's on him.
He can anti-vaxx himself all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals, thanks!
Then again, if he dies of COVID I get to make fun of him for not jabbing. |

I read somewhere that the Bruins got outchanced badly when he was on the ice. |

Meh stats - who else played with him, where was the play during his shift, who was he deployed against, etc. stats are good in a close comparison for scouting talent in Jr but at the pro level a lot are just overblown. Hockey is a tough tough game with so much factoring in that it’s hard to just throw up stats and see the player for what they are you know.
I get it though but just I wouldn’t put too much into that. |

I don’t know much about him but his defensive game is supposed to be weak. |

No worries. If you're all vaxxed up you are darn near bullitt proof. If it turns out you are one of the fortunate ones who are up to date in the booster club, you can even go outdoors where there are others standing less than six feet from one another. Still looks very dangerous though. |

Ya I wouldn’t call it weak but certainly not strong eh.
I think his style in the offensive zone lends itself to playing down low getting tied up knocked down and that you know. He’s a mucker out there. Not an excuse but in a fast game with a quick up play most coaches like - he’s caught too low and slow on the back check.
In the d zone though it’s not he makes bad plays it’s more reacting on the fly vs a cycle team. He will be good though. His centre is Tue best 2way centre in the world (if he pays with 34) |

Leaf fans are weird though, they expect Willy to be a selke candidate so I don’t see Bert getting a free pass because he’s more physical. Toronto media loves to pick players apart. |

The vaccines significantly reduce the risk of transmission, so remaining unvaccinated does indeed increase the risk to others, and oneself. |

Ha fair enough with the media dummies but the fans are just passionate man. They love the game and want 99 upfront and 4 on the backend. Fans being fans is great to me…but ya he may be chirped for the d side |

Just part of the literate majority. You should get in on the stock before their Lyme disease vaccine comes out. |
