Update:

Despite the report stating that former NFL WR Mike Williams had passed away, Williams is alive but on life support and largely unresponsive, according to Williams’ agent.

Also, the "GoFundMe" that was set up by his "mother" was NOT his mother and it has been requested that the GoFundMe be taken down.

Prayers for Williams and his family during this difficult time. 🙏🏽

Wouldn’t this fall into the same logic that made Eichel captain? Draft position/Salary shouldn’t influence the leadership roles….having said that, it’s not ideal putting the sisters in charge because they’ve been there the longest:
