hockey camp is tomorrow and you (frank)ing apes are throwing shyt at each other for no reason.
Sabres have a lot of talent up front and org wide. Hope they make the necessary in season tweaks if necessary to get them into the playoffs. |

Well looks like Savoie is probably gonna miss most of Camp. Taking a Conservative approach to his Shoulder Injury hoping to avoid Surgery. |

Wow. I would think they'd at least give UPL a chance to make the Sabres roster

They also got a sh!t ton of help from the teams around them falling apart themselves. - Buff36

The conversation in context is about this offseason and upcoming season.
We all know the prosepcts are good prospects. They shouldn't be used as a defense of Adams for this lackluster offseason and inevitable disappointment of a season were embarking on - sbroads24

Which rebuild was your favorite? - washedup20
Which of the (literally) tens of thousands of repetitive comments posted on HB pertaining to boats, dinners, 12 years, top 5, 82 points, etc is your favorite? It's so hard to choose....the bountiful harvest of repetitiveness is only exceeded by the completely non-evidenced conclusions being jumped to along the way.
Pure Conjecture Buzz, or Total Speculation Buzz, Totally Misguided Conclusion Buzz, or I'm So Bored But I Love Bashing My Team's GM Just Because Buzz would be more accurate than HockeyBuzz.
Now, a real point: it does seem like we have "wasted seasons" of our good players, but so does every single team that does not get their name on the Cup that year. Are Boston fans relentlessly badgering each other over their "wasted" season by Bergeron, Krejci, etc ...the historic regular season that didn't even make it out of round one? Or how about the wasted years of Marner, Matthews and the gang up north? Maybe for a moment but then those fans prolly grew up and out of it and stop living in the past so much (ok, maybe TO is not the best example cuz their fans are as bad as ours, but the point remains that there are a LOT of "wasted seasons" out there).
In the last 12 years, I have seen my kid grow from a toddler into a teen, went back to college, changed careers, grew more in love with my wife than I've ever been, played lead guitar in a great band (we just played Rich stadium during Wingfest), and learned to make the best goddanged blueberry pie you've ever tasted.
My hockey team hasn't done squat?...oh well. Better luck next year. But having my first sip of coffee at my first SAbres game at the Aud in 1974 in zero-degree weather at age 5 is still one of my favorite memories of all time. And there wasn't a friggin nacho bar anywhere back then, just stale cold popcorn and blackened hot dogs, and they were delicious.

I had heard it a bit differently that after testing the day of they thought no surgery would be required. Either way, turns out Appert was right...won't miss significant time. Life is back to being just a little poope. |

My favorite was when Terry thought they would win the cup signing Taylor Hall and a back office soccer coach.

Most acknowledge 1st rounders take time to varying degrees...tiers of how long it should be expected to take before they arrive. Outside the top ~3, it takes at least 1 year, and more as the pick is later in the round.
-Power choose to stay in college for a year
-Quinn arrived "on time"
-Kulich was 27th so 2 years+, if he makes the team this year he arrived early IMO
-Ostlund wanted to play 1 more year overseas, next season you can consider him to be "delayed".
-Savoie should be the 2 years of development...his injury, this season could impact that a bit.
-Benson probably makes it in his 2nd year.
What is all the hellabaloo about? - IonSabres
Have we heard anything about this injury yet? I don't want to say it's going to do anything without knowing if it's a bruise that he'll be ready in 2 weeks for versus being out months. |

Florida, Islanders - Buff36
They made the p-offs.....
Florida went like 6-3-1 in their last 10
Islanders went 5-4-1
Pittsburgh went 6-4. No depth. Were not good all year
Buffalo 7-2-1. |
