If he loses ice time and PP time to prospects, stands to reason his production will drop.
He's a very tough contract. Tweener 2nd/3rd line and C/LW. A strong year might price him out of Buffalo. A bad year might force him out of Buffalo. - Lunaion
Yeah, even if he has a good year he's probably the best candidate to upgrade the D via trade

Johnson has a future @ McKinsey with this level of depth shared:
"Rasmus Dahlin said he's learning a lot from Erik Johnson in terms of professionalism and recovery. Dahlin said Johnson made him buy a sauna. "He said it was good for recovery. Whatever he says."

Because the team doesn't have one. Jost was coming to my gym last year just to use the sauna.

Didn't used to be, but yeah that's the way now.
Looks like Drai was ppg or better for the last couple, some of that may simply come down to linemates. Germany doesn't necessarily put great teams together, this years' may have been better, I really don't know. - QuinnFan

"As the above tweet shows, Peterka not only scored the highest number of points from any player on Team Germany in any single tournament, he broke a points record that stood for over 90 years."

A lot of the same players, some older like Kahun, some good additions like Seider. Just think these European countries are putting out more and more better talent.
I really think JJ is the real deal, just gotta fix some things away from the puck. |

That's very surprising.
Those 05/06 staph infections still put fear into that room

I actually posted more to see what people would say about the trade. - Buff36
If you can alleviate the logjam at C by adding a G, I'm in.

Well Jost plays a position Kulich and Rosen aren't ready for so yeah you're probably right.
As far as Olofsson, if they beat him outright I guarantee you they do something with him. You've got a dog fight with Rousek Kulich and Rosen.

if 2 of those guys are better than say krebs and olofsson
they should stick with the big club, and they won't
best 18 guys should be on the ice opening night

Thanks for this! Cool to see it all spelled out...outside Philip Goggula. What a horrible miss lol.
Agreed on the Euros. German League is getting better and the SHL has really become a talented league. Still behind the Ruskies IMO, but inching closer. |

No it doesn't, but the timing of everything seems a little weird this offseason. |
