who gets in the hof first? |

He played like 6 minutes per game for 2 games, it's not liek he went pointless in 15 games there art the end of the year.... - turbo044
It was said he is probably ready. Where does the probable come from? Jr success? Lots of prospects have that.
He play a few pro games last year. He look lost or not in the play at all. I didnt expect him to look great. Hard to do that with so little time with the team.
I hope he gets a extended look. Think he will have to blow the doors off to make the team though.

Don't agree with that at all.
I think people are way too quick to blame development when a player doesn't take the next step. Most of the time, they don't. - Lunaion
The unspoken part on waiting forever on players to pan out is you also waste top quality seasons from your actual good players while waiting.
Last year is a prime example of that. |

Yup. If your organization is exceptional at evaluating and developing, then you should be equally as good at knowing who to move on from.

Yes, and also not worry if a player you move on from becomes better somewhere else, as you made the choice to move on to in theory bring in another player who better fits your team and your team's need. |

“Similar to Jiri Kulich last year, Embedded shows the Sabres were looking to trade up as early as pick #20 for Anton Wahlberg.
No one would bite on a trade, so they stayed put and still got him at #39.”
This is like the 3rd time he’s desperately tried to trade up (failed, of course) and the guy they wanted fell to them anyways.

Who looks worse there though? I'd argue all sides look equally bad. Teams could've gotten free assets and passed, and Adams tried to give away assets only to take the guy with the original pick |

Jumping in late and did not back read...so sorry if off base.
Comment seems to be geared towards either Savoie or Benson.
Benson goes back to Jr's to bake a but more and build physical strength.
Savoie I don't believe is ready, but his situation is horrible and believe his best development track is on the Sabres to also build strength, gain practice time, and rotate in games on a part time basis. |

Who cares. If you like a player …. Find a way to draft him.
If we traded up for Kulich and he did what he did this year. No one would be complaining
