I wonder if they trade Dawkins next year. If I'm using the Spotrac trade tool correctly, his dead cap hit would be $7.8 compared to a nearly $14m rostered cap hit.
I think a team with a line need would probably give a 2nd or 3rd even if he's only a mid-level LT. Replace him in the draft and take the cap savings. Just a thought - Hank Balling
Hopefully start hitting on more draft picks. Safety could become an issue soon too. |

It's a good thing they have Rapp on a two year deal and I think their best case scenario is that Elam can take over CB2 duty next year so Benford can transition to safety. That was an idea they toyed with last year.
Edit: nvm, Rapp is one year. Probably time to start thinking about that |

Don't be surprised if Rapp gets a extension during the year. Could see both Hyde and Poyer gone. |

Gonna have to figure out Miller, they have a out clause in his Contract in 2 years. But his Cap hit is like 18 mill next year. Could turn most into a signing bonus and kick it down the road. But then you are paying for a guy who might not be on the Team then. |

Sounds good in theory, but a starting LT with pick 25+ would be quite the find. |

Dawkins was a 2nd. They could find someone serviceable imo - that's essentially what Dion is. He's a serviceable LT |

Beane has written in the players contract he can restructure them at any time.
Bills will be fine salary cap wise |

Yes Beaner is very good with Contracts, and I know how he has them written. That's basically what has given the Bills money to spend the last 2 years reworking Contracts. But you can only restructure a contract so many times and the Bills have moved a lot of there bigger Contracts around already. You don't want 60 to 80mill of your cap used up because of restructuring |

That's why it's nice to have Rapp here. Just in case Hyde does leave. Learning and watching. |

For sure. I'm excited to see him get some reps this year. I think he'll see some snaps this year either as the big nickel in place of Taron or big dime in place of Kirksey/Dodson. But I think Kirksey is going to surprise some people and maybe even play week 1 |

Think Rapp will play quite a bit to, he's to good to be sitting on the bench all game. And Kirksey was a nice get this late by Beane. Think he will help Milano out to, just be able to concentrate on his job instead of worrying about who is next to him.

Yep, Kirksey is stable vet who knows what he's doing. Not the best but he's competent and experienced |

Yep, he's lost a step. But he hits the hole and he's turned himself into a Decent Blitzer. |

That ball was going to drop right into the receiver’s hands. What a play. |

Let's not give too much credit here, simple restructures are standard in NFL deals.

Pretty much know with as large as these contracts are getting. And being able to add Dead Years to the contracts has helped immensely. |

There's a clip of Belichick coming up to Hyde after that playoff game to give Hyde props on the pick. Game recognizes game |

RIP Mike Williams - Buff36
Only 36 years old and he succumbed to "Injuries suffered on a construction site."
Respect to a man who signed a $40m contract and still got his hands dirty. RIP for sure. |

Was in a Superflex up to 2 keeper league draft yesterday. Took Allen #3 overall. Expected teams after me to draft at least one QB and leave a bunch of good rbs/wrs. Mahomes, Hurts and Lamar were the only ones to go by the time I was back up. Not much left and went with Ridley and Jones. Ugh. Do have Allen and Fields (round 11 boss of a keeper) as my qbs. Nobody can top that so we’ll see.
Really like the 6 spot in redrafts. You can get great WR/RB and maintain damage control with QBs. Just solid. |
