Not a new phenomenon, unfortunately. Heavyweight Bills alumni have complained to me in past about treatment when they return.
HOFer told me he was appalled where Marv Levy was seated at last yr opener, in general area w/fans who were nice but too overwhelming for 91-year-old man

There's a strong chance the quality of their play will merit all 5 being on the Sabres next season.
That will certainly pose some interesting questions. |

what if the gm refuses to let some of the guys with the big club and there is no spot for most of them? |

Terry at it again:
“Congrats to @BuffaloBills for getting a dominant win in home opener. I wish I could've stayed for the entire game but seating accomodations were NOT the standard. How you gonna have the @NFLLegends supporting with this obstructed sample size of a view!? Felt like I was in timeout”

They need to fire their PR team, the lot of them. Apparently this was not the first time; plus the whole hot mic thing that was handled about as poorly as it could be handled. |

They did, but it was the Sabres, and apparently the guy who did well coordinating events like the RJ retirement.
Whoops. |

This hit job is up there with Sonny Corleone at the toll booth - homiedclown
Nah, he sucks, and likes to pull piece of sh¡t power moves like that to let everyone know who's boss.
It's pretty easy to win a Cup when you have 5 HoFers, and take over a stacked team from maybe the best coach ever(yeah, I know they had a guy for a couple seasons in between, but it was the same team). Or a Gold medal when you have ~11 HoFers.

The same front office that was criticized this past offseason for “gifting” Peterka and Quinn roster spots ?
If they are ready, they are ready and I’m sure will be here.
If not, going back for a D+2 season (D+3 season for Rosen) isn’t a detriment either.
Both Quinn and Peterka played their D+2 seasons in Rochester |

peterka played 70 games in rochester
quinn played 60 games in rochester
where do those equate to 2 seasons ea in the ahl?

D+2 meaning their second season since being drafted.
Rosen will be now 3 years removed from being drafted, so entering his D+3 season |

It's almost always contract based on the above with the Sabres under the current management, as they love maxing out ELC slide years for players. |

I mean Quinn and Peterka completely torched the AHL the year prior and had their ups and downs their rookie years.
Tough to argue with the results, with the ELC slide being the icing on the cake.
Going to be even more important moving forward as we will be spending to the cap |

Josh Allen largely took what the defense gave him today, peppering throws under 10 yards & outside the numbers. Remaining patient throughout. This is how he needs to live right now. Teams are going to see if they can get him to press & force the ball, thinking that eventually he’ll revert to that form. Operating the way he did today against this defensive philosophy will keep the #Bills on schedule, & also, eventually, force defenses to honor the underneath & thus open themselves up in the intermediate & deep

Yes it will. Questions like "holy fuçk, why did the dumb fucķ GM bring back the same useless players and slow the development of this team as a whole so fast while still missing the playoffs instead of playing some of them last year so they wouldnt have to waste another year on dumb fùckery because the gm is a dumb fucƙ?" |

Rosen has played 80 games…..does anyone know what role he is working towards being promoted to?
Kulich has played 74 games…..looks like he will be sent down to allow Olofsson NHL time. |

If you were GM, how would you handle the roster situations?
What are your plans for:
NHL:
Krebs
Greenway
Mitts
Olo
Joker
UPL
AHL:
Murray
Weisbach
Cederquist
Rosen
Kulich
R Johnson
Russians
Prospects about to play pro:
Ostlund?
Savoie
Benson
Lindgren
There is a large list of on the fence players as well.
IMO this approach allowed a small window of high value from these players, that window is closing this season and the Sabres still do not have a plan that I can see that maximizes these assets.
Why wouldn’t another GM just wait out Adams and take these players/prospects for pennie’s on the dollar? |
