My one prediction for this season is that Ryan Johnson finishes next to Owen Power. |

It's hard to keep track with all the crybaby stuff constantly around here.
Beane's a great gm - Boss34
Yeah, he's done a fantastic job. Drafting will be that much more important for the Bills the next few years. Money is gonna be tight for a bit. |

When they're ready, room will be made for them.
Of course, if they can't beat out any of the talent on the top 3 lines by the time they're ready (and don't project to do so in their next few years), they will be traded - TheSabresTaco
Next season is the first test of your commentary.
They have a full top six signed for next season.
Bringing back both Mittelstadt and Krebs would give them 8 of a top 9.
Even if it is just Kulich and Rosen who are ready, do you want to play one of them on the 4th line?
That doesn't look to be a fit for either of their abilities. |

I know I'm going to end up posting this about 100x in the next two years, so here we go.
"When they're ready, room will be made for them" - TheSabresTaco
That's very true, and as That's happening hopefully you are not loosing value on that prospect or a young player they replace. Sabres have plenty of prospects coming. But you also don't want to lose value on the one's you might wait to long on. |

Do you really seeing Adams trading even one of them, let alone both, aside from one or both having terrible seasons? |

Most likely for less than the cost to acquire.

Kulich looks solid as a 3C, he was good on the Dot and he killed a lot of Penalties. Kozak just keeps getting better, was liking him last year, he's a dog. Kid could be a Beast at 4C. Rosen's 200ft game was outstanding, kid looks bigger. Gonna be a fun couple years |

I can't see Pegula firing Adams unless they somehow get a lottery pick next year.

No, I don't want them on the fourth line. There are rightfully questions about where all these guys end up in the next few years. I'm just not digging at the questions yet. Because no one outside that org can actually answer them. If you think within the next 24 months that kulich, benson, savoie, rosen, ostlund can beat out the likes of mittelstadt, olofsson, Krebs or peterka, then kev will move them to make room. Those kids are probably not getting traded unless they plateau and run out of waiver exemption.

Adams isn't getting poop canned unless there's a complete bottoming out this year. Like worse than Ralph. The basement slab falls into the earth. |

You really think this could happen before the start of the season?
I just expect more GM speak about development and patience.

No. Using names that are maybe not total fixtures in the next 2, 3 years. |

Hard to argue with the results was in the original comment.
I am wondering what are the results worth celebrating big over?
They've built tremendous depth, but most of it is based entirely on promise and potential.
Quinn and Peterka still have a lot to prove before they can be classified as big wins.
They certainly were not big drivers on the team last season.
If they were even a little bigger drivers last season, the team likely makes the playoffs.
Overall, the question about how the team is managed comes down to this: Can the Sabres end up being a top level team in the league while having an isolationist mentality and approach?
I don't think they can. - kingcong39
69 pts between 2 rooks... One just broke his countries record for points at the worlds.. the other put together a complete game by seasons end...
What a horrible post |

Why is it a Horrible post ? They still have a lot to prove if they are Top 6 players and Quinn's injury hurts that, especially his development. |
