And if Krebs falters you have Kozak. As players mature maybe Benson or Savoie or Rosen move up and you have Nadeau Wahlberg Ostlund and so forth to move into those slots hopefully. Even so that still leaves Kisakov Neuchev Poltapov and a bunch of others. So many and just not enough spots.

Erik Johnson will solve all your problems, he is the true vet needed to handle the coaching role of managing other players.

So someone with almost 1k games played and won a cup might help some young defenseman out.

Why does that need to be, Sabres have enough talent that they could roll
Benson Kulich Savoie as a 3rd line if the chose to
Rosen Krebs Rousek as a 4th line all 3 have good 200ft games with Offensive upside.
Sabres could just overwhelm teams with 4 lines, dictate the game and pace. Let the other team worry about match ups
