Not even a minute into the final game of the #Sabres Prospects Challenge, Matthew Savoie goes hard into the end boards and came off the ice holding his arm/shoulder in quite a bit of pain. He went right to the locker room, while general manager Kevyn Adams went down as well.

10 forwards and without 3/4 1st round players, Pens just had more this game.

Benson: Has some real skill and you could see it at times. Good passer, good mind, got caught on the back check a few times. At times looked like he knew what to do but other players couldn't connect.

Johnson: looked pretty good, had some offensive pushes especially late. Made a few mistakes maybe by trying to do too much. Also drilled a kid with a puck in front of me.

Novikov: Stood out, looked big. Don't expect much but without much else in the defensive pipeline, might be one to watch.

Bummer Savoie got hurt but hopefully it's a bit of precaution as well

Tough card to play vs. a Pens team with 1 prospect.

3 games in 4 days, looked sluggish tonight. Kind of expected. Interesting that they brought fewer players than normal this year. Not sure anyone needs to play all 3 of thse games.

Dissolve the current major junior system and create nhl-based junior squads that can feed the AHL with no byzantine exemption rules

Lack of breakaway speed isn't a concern but it's noticable. His vision is also very noticable, made some great passes and just tried to make things happen. Penguins also keyed in on him the entire game especially after Savoie left
