You literally said you called me Lamont that day because I was a douche that day. So either you did it out of frustration or couldn’t think of anything to call me…or both. Either way you were frustrated and/or couldn’t come up with an original thought of your own. It’s impossible either one to not be true. - SuperSchennBros Yep, cause you were acting like a douche and I wanted to piss you off. It obviously worked cause you are still talking about it after all this time. I win again! Thanks for playing. Eh what? Thanks for coming! |

While condoning racism. So either you’re racist or dumb. I’m gonna go with dumb because you don’t even know why he was calling Lamont to begin with. |

You should really be careful with how much you judge people on here without really knowing them. Your philosophies are so ignorant and stupid. I'm condoning something cause I don't admonish the other guy. Do you know how dumb that actually is? Good night Mr. Douchey!! And this time it's for real. |

Why would I need to be careful about how I judge anyone on this site? Because of their high level position job, I owe you or anyone else on hockeybuzz.com respect? I don’t work for you. Not only do I not believe you because you sound that dumb, you were arguing with MJL and going out of your way to insult me and I wasn’t even apart of the conversation. Nothing you say makes sense, especially this lame warning you just gave me. |

And that would be you! Geez, can you imagine. In the first week everyone would be begging me to fire you cause you are nothing but a drama queen that is starting sh!t with everyone. You're welcome for the lesson in life! Now buck up buttercup! Or should I say step into my office...YOU'RE FIRED! Oh, and one more thing... why do you engage me? You said that you hate me and several others on here, so why do you engage? I don't hate you cause I don't feel I know you enough to actually hate you although I'm guessing things wouldn't end well in real life based on your ignorance and our uninspiring conversations. |

I literally just told you, you were dropping my name. You’re not running a high level company. You’re too slow. - SuperSchennBros You can't even comprehend that right. I didn't say I run a high level company. I said I WAS a high level executive that runs my own business now. You cannot interpret and or comprehend anything correctly. I give up. |

Thank you for making my point. I'm clearly on record saying I thought he would've gotten 500-700 K more. You are completely unreliable and uninformed. That's twice just tonight. Including when you got involved with SSB having no clue what was being said. You're nothing but a proven troll. - MJL
Frost should get a 2-3 year deal at somewhere around 3-3.5M a year. - MJL

This is exactly why you're being called dumb. Everything you tell others they shouldn't do. You do! Yes, you condoned it and you do exactly what you tell others not to do and you aren't aware that you do it! That's the definition of dumb. You can say you're anything you want but your comments suggest otherwise. You tell others to stick to hockey, but you don't. You can't make it up.

My stance was amended from what Cates received. That was posted on this very thread.
I did not comment or suggest that one can't insert themselves in a conversation on a message board. |

I actually thought Frost might get a little more. Kind of refreshing that a deal comes through and I’m not thinking it is too much for too long. These things will matter as this team brings other guys in. |

So currently capfriendly has the flyers listed as having $867,000 in cap space. Am I reading it correctly, when they waive Ellis after the season starts they will have an additional 6.25 million? |

I also thought Frost would (and should) get more than Cates. I am frankly amazed that Briere got this deal done at that cap hit.
With that cap hit, I am wondering what the holdup was? Were the Flyers actually offering less?

It doesn’t matter if you love Morgan Frost or hate Morgan Frost, we need him to good right now. We need him to be Peter Forsberg, Danny Briere or Claude Giroux as soon as humanly possible. If he can be the player he was in the second half of the season at this price for two years, that’s a huge win. 46 points in 81 games needs to be closer to the 60-70 mark this coming season and I think that’s being more than fair. - SuperSchennBros
To be honest, I am not a fan of Morgan Frost. Shocking, right? Yes he has the skill but I just don't like the way he plays the game. However I love the Flyers and thus I want Frost to take the coaching he is given, alter his game accordingly and succeed. He looked to turn the corner the 2nd half last year, and I sincerely hope he continues to play that way from the start of this season. He has a good 2 years to prove to the Flyers he is a player that is part of the solution here and I hope he does so. |

I thought so also. The holdup was that the Frost camp thought so also. Frost just didn't have the leverage that Cates did. Which is why his deal is less. |

Frost has been turning the corner ever since he stepped into a Flyers uniform. Thankfully, to this point, he seems to be overcoming the poor coaching he has received under Yeo and Tortorella. |

Honestly I thought Frost would get Cates money at least for 1-2 years, this is lower than I expected also. As I mentioned prior, Frost did not have the backing of Torts and I think this played a part in the negotiation. |

Tortorella's perceived opinion on Frost didn't have squat to do with the negotiation. You are inventing that. There is only one reason why Frost got less than Cates did. Arbitration rights, which means Frost had less leverage. |

Cap wise LTIR is a better situation that waiving would be for Ellis.
