You aren't nearly as smart as you think you are. Not even close! You must be real fun at parties. Oh right, you've probably NEVER been to a party in your life. Bozo!

Cap wise LTIR is a better situation that waiving would be for Ellis.

Back to my original question. Would they get an additional 6.25 in cap space?

Wow, you're original. You really need to get out of the house more. Or your Mom's basement which I'm guessing there is a 50/50 chance that's where you live. Might be time to wash your Luke Skywalker jammies....don't ya think?

Potentially, yes. If they can position the roster as close to the upper limit as possible with Ellis on the active roster coming out of training camp. Keep in mind that Capfreindly is an estimate. For example, in season, it's doubtful that the Flyers keep 3 goalies on the active roster.

You've so embarrassed yourself with juvenile and childish rants, insults and repeated fallacies such as you're a top executive. Based on your behavior, nobody is going to buy that. You are irrational and unintelligent.

Tortorella's perceived opinion on Frost didn't have squat to do with the negotiation. You are inventing that. There is only one reason why Frost got less than Cates did. Arbitration rights, which means Frost had less leverage.
- MJL

I am not inventing anything. It is fact that Torts is not a fan of Frost. To prove this even after Frost turned it around in the 2nd half, all Torts would say about him is "he is fine". Now that does not mean Frost can't win Torts over, but right now I would say Torts is still in wait and see mode. Now that is the feedback he is giving Briere and part of what Briere will use in the negotiation. IF Torts was completely sold on Frost, I think Frost gets a better deal. That is my opinion. You can have your opinion.

I said I WAS a top level executive! Go to the Boeing website and I'll give you my name douchebag. Now I run my own business. God you and your brother are stupid! You both have the comprehension skills of gnats! But then again you are both probably totally socially inept, so there is that.

If by some miracle he is claimed the Flyers would be rid of his cap hit, but if he is just waived with the intent of sending him down, They would only get I believe 1.125 million in cap relief.

There is a difference between Tortorella not being a favorite of Frost and claiming that figured into the contract negotiations. That is a figment of your imagination and more in a long line of misreads on situations.

The factors that played in are his production, future potential and contract leverage.

Was or are, doesn't matter. Nobody is going to buy it. Just more childish, juvenile insults and rants. Keep digging your hole. Not having the intelligence to realize how you have exposed yourself. In terms of maturity, intelligence and condoning racism by repeating and attempting to justify racist remarks made towards another poster.

I think that is correct. It is better to keep him on LTIR at this point until I team looking to get to the cap floor comes calling.

God you're a loser. Do you really have a life at all? I mean, you LIVE on this site and think you own it. I, on the other hand have a business to run and a life outside of this site to live. What are these imaginary holes you say I keep digging. I hear your brother needs his diapers changed. Good day snowflake!

Technically yes. As MJL said, his injury status prevents him from being waived anyway. LTIR is the only option available.

That being said, with Frosts deal, the Flyers will be under the cap without LTIR. So It is not an option.

Its a racist comment and rationalizing it is condoning it. None of us should tolerate it or accept it. He should be shunned for it.
- MJL

I agree (except for the shunning part). Again, I don’t see why it is so difficult to be civil. Rather that lashing out and calling someone names because their post doesn’t make sense to you why not just ask them to clarify? Maybe there wouldn’t be 10 pages of childish name calling if we all just tried to act like adults.

The Flyers want to be as close to the upper limit as possible coming out of camp with Ellis on the active roster. Once that's done, they maximize the potential LTIR cap space available. Then it's just a question of the first injury issue requiring a call up and Ellis placed on LTIR.
