CapFriendly says the deal is done— two years, $4.2 million. The salary-cap hit is $2.1 million. The Daily Faceoff reported the deal was signed. An NHL source confirmed the news.

Great deal for the Flyers, I am really happy they did not extend him long term for crazy money, it's time for Frost to put up for that next deal.

Where did you hear this? I have not seen anyone talking that kind of deal for Frost. There is no renegotiation of contracts in the NHL.
