This turned into an instant classic huh?
- Scabeh
Only by other team fanbases who are either too stupid to have the whole story / or to acknowledge the fact there was an equally large group chanting that they wanted Boston.
It shouldn't be surprising though since Leafs Nation lives rent free in most other teams fans heads 24/7/365.
At least no Canadian Team fanbase has ever had full on riots, burning cars and whatnot....oh wait nevermind.

Yeah well only one chant made the news.
I wonder why. - Scabeh
Because it rang out from the Mecca.
So dumb people made a big deal of this. Fans in every sport constantly chant: ‘bring on _____’ or ‘we want ____’. It’s just what fans do. Like when bruins fans were chanting ‘we want the cup’ in rd one game one period one vs Florida.

You're such a franking wine snob.
I'll happily drink any free wine that runs down a muddy road.
Subtle hints of dog poop and motor oil! - Atomic Wedgie
I'd get some funnels, hoses and bottle that poop up and sell it online!
As funny as that sounds I remember buying a bottle of scotch for my grandfather one time that was 'limited stock' and the entire selling angle was because a roof had collapses during a storm and some marketing genius say opportunity to create something unique and exclusive.
Now for this wine product launch we will need a catchy name - "Muddy Waters Road Special Edition" perhaps? We can reach out to the family of famous Blues Artist to see if we can get use of his likeness and endorsement......lol
