The only person I’ll believe about this whole Babcock/phone fiasco is Patrik Laine, because he’ll not give a (frank) about throwing his coach under the bus and his phone gallery is probably just him trying on sunglasses at every mall or gas bar kiosk, so he has nothing to lose

I think treliving identified some key areas where the leafs are lacking. I don’t care if he plays 3 minutes a night I think he’s a glue guy that’ll bring the team together.

As a man who has done the same but only with Finns, I'm ok with it. I don't await seeing other guys' dongs with anticipation, it just is what it is, and I rather enjoy the whole sauna thing.

I think there's an element of your body telling you you're dying which takes the mind away from the perception of north american awkwardness.

The Jets just payed Rogers all that money to play 75 seconds.

The point here is they added an element that could very well work with the lineup they have.

The focus here is AM playing like a 12M dollar player.

Marner like a 11M dollar guy.

They can't be losing millions because those guys aren't playing to standard.

Maybe adding some juice in Reaves and some actual personality will help their game.

Me too.

And I don't care about the argument that tough guys don't help keep players safe. For me, that's irrelevant. The players on the team believe it. And Reaves just so happens to be the heavy weight champ.

But I think a real big part of Reaves being here, is his addition to the room. He's the gold standard of dressing room guys. He'll be most guys' best friend.

And maybe most importantly, and I'm gonna underline this to emphasize it; wherever Reaves goes, the Cup soon follows. Except for the Rangers and now Minnesota. But the 3 previous teams won a Cup recently. I believe in the Juju.

Reaves never wins it himself, but maybe this time is different for him.

The Leafs have won a single game past round 1 in Marner's entire tenure with the team.

Locking up, ostensibly, half of your cap in 4 soft, skilled forwards is demonstrably not a recipe for success in the post-season.
